Spinning in a circle, I grinned at the way her smile grew, and her giggles bubbled past her lips. She was so grown up, and I think I was beginning to accept that, but I was always going to see her as my little girl. The little girl we'd gotten from the orphanage. But he'd grown so much, I knew she'd blossomed into who she was meant to be, and still was. She had a long life ahead of her, as did the rest of us. Phil was only in his early 30s, and I was only in my late 20s, it was safe to say we had at least 70 m0re years in us, well, at least I did. "Watch out, little cub!" I ran ahead and grabbed her hands, not wanting her to fall into the water, she was awfully close to the edge. Phil caught up with us, a loving smile on his own face, and he grabbed my hand, I'd been more confident as of late. Wearing the rings more out in public, holding hands, and even letting myself lay my head down on his shoulder when I got tired. We weren't kissing or stuff yet, but I had a sneaking suspicion that it was only around the corner. It was a matter of time.

"It's a nice day out today." And it was, for London. Usually during the month of May, it was a lot of rain and sometimes even hail, but as if though it knew what a special month it was, the weather was beautiful, and the skies were clear with only a couple of clouds wisping through it's endless blue. Laying my head on his shoulder as we walked, I let out a content sigh. Things were going perfectly, almost too perfectly, but this wasn't an anime were everything was about to go bad. We'd gone through so much heartbreak and angst throughout the last few years, I'd be surprised if there was anything left to take or break. "We should take her swimming again, I don't think she'd been since we've been at the convention." And, of course, he was right. Today was a perfect day to go swimming, and I'd be damned if I was about to let it all go to waste.

Tugging on his hand, I had him stop all the way, looking into those ocean eyes I'd fallen in love with countless times. "Then let's go swimming, today." He looked a little surprised, but he did not question me, only calling for Winnie, who bounced to our side in a moment's notice. "Cub, we're going swimming today. Let's go home and get our swimsuits, and then we'll find a nice beach, or pool, to swim in. Okay?" Her light eyes shone, and she nodded, she understood, she understood perfectly. Grabbing onto my hand, we hadn't held her in awhile, she was almost too big for us to do that anymore, she swung our hands back and forth as she waited for us to start walking. "Excited?" I mused as we began our trek back home, we had to also make sure we did have a swimsuit that would fit her. It had almost been a year since the last time she'd been.

We hadn't gone that far from home, we rarely did unless we were actually traveling, and with a last smile down at her, I helped her run up the stairs, though really she was the one pulling us up, and got out the key so we would be able to get inside. "Go get your swimsuit, sunshine. We will be right behind you." It wouldn't take us as long to get into ours, I'd stopped wearing a shirt over my chest long ago, I was growing more comfortable with my body, and this helped it a lot. As we got dressed, Phil tried to play, but I was focused on the task at hand, though we both knew I would've loved to have just pushed him down onto the floor, or the bed, and start kissing him like there was no one else in the world. But there was, and in our world as well, her name was Winnie Mae, and we had basically promised her we'd take her swimming.

"Maybe later, Philly." I whispered, but sneaked a peck onto his lips, and I only knew there was a mischievous twinkle in not only his ocean eyes, but my chocolate ones as well. "Now come on, our daughter is probably waiting." Grabbing some towels, and the sunscreen I knew he'd need soon, we walked out to see her in her swimsuit. Her last one had outgrown her, but I had not been to sure we'd gotten her another one. Though it looked like Louise was the culprit here, it was a beautiful cocoa brown, it matched her eyes beautifully, and had small bursts of yellow throughout it, that was probably the pattern. Or Louise had messed up on the laundry again, but I choose to see it as a pattern. "You ready, cub?" Seeing her smile grow, and her legs in the air as she bounced up and down, I knew she was beyond ready. She had her towel in her hands, and was gripping it tightly, her light eyes looking up at us like we were her saviours.
