This is shiro's pov of the fight not a continue of the last chapter
I lunged at Matt to keep him safe, he would most likely die if he went out there. As I enter the arena I see a girl with (hair color). I took the sword ready to fight. I lunged at her with the sword making a little cut on her arm. She quickly kicked me making me fall down. But I was fast and grabbed her arm and tossed her back. I had to admit she was a pretty good fighter, even though I've fought giant monsters. I didn't see it coming and she made a kid a giant slash in my side.
"Nngh" I yelled in pained
I gripped my sword and lunged at her kicking her off her feet but she quickly got back up and punched me in the shoulder. I can't tell I have her a bruise on one of her cheeks. I wouldn't fight girls back then because that wasn't right. But here you don't really have a choice, it's either life or death maybe injured.as we both landed punches and kicks. She tried to hit me with the sword I ducked and swiftly kicked her in the side.
Time skip 10 minutes
Soon both of us had lots of scratches, and bruises. I can hardly focus with the screaming of the crowd placing bets on us. I can't wait till this is over.
