3rd pov!

"Listen. I don't want to go in." Y/n said coldly she didn't even want to be out of the room she and Shiro shared. She wasn't even feeling good to add onto it.  Also refused to go near the black lion. After Shiro... disappearing, she hasn't even been near the black lion. The possibility of him injured or worse...
"It's obviously Keith. We know he since flew it before."

"Paladins we don't have time. We need to find a pilot for the black lion. We are all going to go in there and if it responded des then it has been decided." Allura spoke up. Now that the enemies son, lotor is in the picture, things were unpredictable.
That meant if one of them were to pilot the Black lion, their lion would be in need of a pilot. The maroon lion was an option. As Voltron could form without it. But with the maroon they had higher chances of winning their battles. Like maroon gave all the abilities a power up.  Voltron took less damage.
Of course y/n already figured it out. Keith would pilot the black lion. And either her or allura would need to pilot red.

Y/n saw allura come out, sadly the black lion didn't respond. Kieth, like her refused to go in it. He kept saying how no one can pilot it and you can't replace Shiro. She didn't want to be here right now. She stood next to pidge.
Earlier everyone was argue at how they should be the head of the team. Keith was the last one to go. It didn't take so long. From the outside, the black lion got up and powered on. Keith got out with a blank face.
"No. I don't accept this."
Making the team gasp allura spoke up,
"You must. The black lion has chosen you."

"I can't replace Shiro!"
"Keith. No one can replace Shiro. The black lion wouldn't choose someone untrustworthy. I respect its choice. And you should to." Lance said holding onto Keith's shoulder.

Y/n began to walk away slowly. Her eyes were dull. How could they just replace him so quickly?

3rd pov

The team had left to go fight with lotor. Well his battle ships. Since Keith had the black lion. The red wasn't here. But what was keeping Lance so long?
Flying faster than needed to was the red lion. Is that Lance? He quickly stopped before flying straight into lotor ship.
"Hey! Be careful with red." Keith warned Lance who sarcastically told him to fly his own lion. But red was hit in the back with two fighter jets causing an explosion.
The lions could barely just float still. They were all over the place.

"Uh. Wow, we are a mess." Pidge admitted. All of sudden blocking y/n from an attack was the blue lion. Wait? Was that Allura.
"Yes! Allura?!"
The team noticed that lotor began to retreat.
"We did it!"
"Yeah!"

The team held a smile, even y/n who managed a smile.

Based on the first episode  of season three! Ok I stayed up all night waiting for S3 on Netflix. And when it finally came at 3:00am or something. I'm about five minutes in and I knock right out. ;-;
