3rd pov

"I feel like I should be comforting allura right now? I mean getting told of how your entire planet died isn't taken lightly." Y/n said nervously as she finished brushing her teeth. She was ranting off to Shiro who was changing out of his usual uniform.

"I mean I think I didn't take it lightly when my planet was no longer here? Though I do kinda feel sick that Zarkon had also destroyed my planet and now that I know why doesn't help?" Y/n rambled as she put the brush down from bushing her hair. She got into bed with Shiro who wrapped his arm around her waste pulling her close.

"Take a deep breath, you and allura both lost similar things. And the fact you guys were best friends when you were kids helps you two connect together. If it was anyone it would be you to comfort her because you had known her the longest besides Coran." Shiro said trying to to get the girl at ease.

"Would you like to go see her?" Shiro suggested as the girl nodded her head and unwrapped herself from his body.

"I'm sorry if I might be sleeping when you get back, it's been a long day." Shiro said as he yawned.

"Goodnight.." y/n kissed him as she began her way to the princesses room.
It wasnt that difficult to see in the dark but the blue lights down the hallways helped a lot. As y/n remembered a few short cuts to get there faster. She walked a few more minutes as she stood in front of the door.

(( ok so allura is my bby girl and it's like a tiny bit of Allura x reader fluffy. But hey who doesn't love allura?))

Y/n quietly knocked on the door as it slide open at the third knock. Y/n could see into the dark room that allura was sitting up leaning over. Obviously not asleep.

"Allura?"

"Yes y/n?" The response was quite as y/n ventured into room as the door closed.

" I just wanted to check on you? I mean I can feel what you are feeling and I know it must be hard for you."

Allura was sitting on the end of the bed looking at her hands.
The two girls who grew up knowing each other had things in common.
The two girls are the last of their race.
They lost their families to the same person.
They both hate the same people.

"I am just fine, I can't really get to sleep." Allura replied looking up at y/n.

"I should be the one worried about you? As a child you were so sensitive but tough. Though after...leaving...you don't really show a lot of emotions. I can't really tell if you're sad." Allura said thinking of the memories of the two as children. Y/n used to trip and fall a lot and cry a little.
Now after being captured for years she learned that being emotional won't help her stay alive in the cold prison.

Y/n sat on the bed next to allura. She knew that she had trouble with certain emotions after escaping.

"Yeah I'm kinda working on that.." y/n said rubbing the back of her neck in embarrassment.
"Maybe we should have a Sleepover? I heard hunk talking about it to Lance and pidge. They said they used to have them all the time."
"Ah that sounds fun? I guess I should get back to Shiro? You should get some sleep." Y/n said standing up but allura gave her hug. The two hugged for a a minute as they separated and y/n went out the door. Carefully the girl went through the halls trying not to trip on her own feet in the dark.

Ok so the allura moment wasn't that romantic as I wanted it to be.... but hey it still counts. I've been waiting since Season 3 for season 4 y'all already know I'm bout to cry. I'm going to try to post before it comes out!
