The day of prom was a little hectic, but at the same time it wasn't.

They went to school like normal, but hardly any work got done. Everyone was too excited to do anything.

After school, Cas and Sam went to their separate homes to get ready.

Sam, knowing that Cas liked it when he did it, shaved the little bit of stubble on his face, making him have a 'baby face' as Cas would call it. He had Dean help him trim his hair, saying that if he did anything to fuck it up, he'd kill him. He took a shower and got out, checking the time before he started getting dressed. Once his shirt was on, he looked at his piercings, taking them out. He decided that he wasn't going to wear them anymore and threw them into the trash. He covered up the holes with makeup before he got fully dressed.

Cas stood in front of his mirror, staring at himself. I look ugly. He picked up his razor and shaved. He even plucked his eyebrows a little. He jumped in the shower and took a quick, but thorough, shower and got out. He dried his hair and combed it, groaning when he couldn't get a piece to go with the rest of his hair. He gave up with a sigh before leaving it and getting dressed. He adjusted his tie and let out a soft sigh as he checked the time. 5:25... They didn't have to be at the gym until 6:30, but the four of them decided to go out and get a bite to eat before going.

There was a knock at his bedroom door and he opened it, letting Gabriel in. "Dean said they're on their way. You're taking your car, aren't you?"

Cas nodded. "Yeah."

"Good. Cause Dean and I need some privacy for after," he said before winking and walking out.

"Didn't need to know that!" Cas yelled after him.

Sam sat in the passenger seat of Dean's car, nervously shaking his leg as his brother drove them to the Novak's house. He didn't know what he was so nervous for.

"Sammy, are you ready?" Dean asked with a grin.

Sam sighed shakily. "As ready as I'll ever be."

They chatted quietly until they got to the house. They got out and softly shut the car doors before walking up to the front door. Dean knocked and less than a minute later, Chuck opened the door, smiling at them. "Come on in boys," he said softly as he opened the door wider for them.

Sam and Dean walked in and looked towards the stairs.

"Cas! Gabe! Sam and Dean are here!"

Things were quiet for a minute before the sound of doors opening and closing filled the house. The first to come down was Gabe. Dean and he stared at each other, love clear in their eyes. "Wow," they both whispered as they took in each other's appearance.

Sam kept his gaze on the srairs, waiting for Cas. His eyes widened when he finally came down. Angel... He thought as he started to smile.

Cas blushed a little and waved slightly, before glancing down.

Chuck smiled at the four boys and picked up his camera. "Come on! Pictures before you go!"

Gabe took Dean's hand and pulled him close to the wall where his dad wanted the pictures.

Cas and Sam stayed behind Chuck, still smiling at each other. "You look beautiful," Sam whispered, making Cas blush more.

"You do too, Sam," he whispered back, kissing his cheek.

Dean and Gabe finished taking their pictures and then Sam and Cas went. After them, they all took a couple of group pictures and finally they were off.

"Chinese food?" Dean asked the other three who nodded in agreement.

"We'll follow you both there," Cas said before they all got into the car's and drove off.

Sam looked over at Cas, still smiling. "You look like an angel," he suddenly blurted out.

Cas smiled and glanced at him for a second. "You do too, Sam. You look heavenly."

It was Sam's turn to blush and look down; smiling at his lap. "Thank you," he uttered softly.

This was going to be a perfect night. They already knew.
