Chapter 45 - The Black Synod

Thunder's POV

It has been six months since strange things have been happening in Night Sky Academy. I am not pointing fingers but I couldn't set aside the fact that everything started when Raven stepped onto this ground.

Hawak ko ngayon ang mga importanteng dokumento. Dokumentong pinaghirapang isagip ni Andrei mula sa nasusunog na Corvus Science Building. Nagawang hanapin nang isa sa mga reapers nang pamilya ang taong nagsimula nang sunog pero gaya nang ibang mga binayaran ay hindi rin sila nagsasalita kung sino ang nag-uutos sa kanila kaya napipilitan akong ipapatay sila para wala nang kumalat pa. Yun nga lang, wala pa rin akong lead hanggang ngayon. A very frustrating fact.

Matagal nang itinago ang mga papeles na ito at kamakailan lang namin nadiskubre. Kilala ko ang Black Synod dahil isa sila sa mga grupong kinamumuhian nang pamilya namin.

20 years ago when they brainwashed one of my grandfather's cousin, Mr. Harold Damien. He was a part of the Synod's council and because of that he betrayed our family and permanently broke the bond connecting him with us. That history goes on for years and he was known to be Judas' Nephew because of his betrayal.

As for the Black Synod, they were a group of wicked men whose hunger for power and fame devoured their souls and that it blinded them with money and fortune. They killed the whole council of the Valkyrie Women and sacrificed them in order to advance on top of the underground society.

The Head Master of this group was also the Head Administrator of the old Constellation Institute. The school before Night Sky Academy was born. Rumors has it that their rituals take place within the school grounds and that it is the main purpose of why they founded the school, to do their dirty works and eventually hide it from the eyes of many.

Until a powerful empire overthrew them which is what I am going to find out within these papers. Our family has always suspected that The Black Synod will rise again and that is why they sent me here, to keep watch over the place and at the same time guard some important documents hidden within the campus. But there are times that things get out of hand and that is why I assembled the Student League to help me maintain order.

I opened the envelope and closely read the information written in it. There were lists of transactions and seemingly other groups with whom they had the transaction. It also contained the list of allies that they had and some pictures. I examined a paper onto which an organizational chart was printed from the highest ranking person to the lowest position.
