Isabelle's POV
"I flew here as soon as I received the news." pagsasabi ni kuya Zero habang umupo sa sofa nang kanilang malawak na living room. He invited us all to meet him personally here in their mansion.
About the event that took place yesterday, the school is still under the control of the evil Director Traditore. When we made our way to the old administrative office, we spent the night there and early in morning we started to look for a path out of the woods and successfully, the trail led us to the Beaumont Park where we escaped and went to each of our homes. We've decided to keep it as a secret from our parents because it would be a chaos if they knew about it.
From outside the school, people can say that it's going fine out there but, we, for ourselves, knew that things in there aren't in good terms. We are the only hope for the students now.
"Two questions." kuya Zero started the conversation. "When and how?" he looked at each one of us straight in the eyes. I can feel his quiet and intimidating aura.
"Yesterday. Around four in the afternoon. She told us that she'll be meeting a friend." Sa aming anim si Brenda ang puma-pangalawa kay Raven kapag tapang ang pinaguusapan. Hindi siya nahihiya o natatakot magsalita basta alam niyang nasa posisyon siya.
"A friend? Or a business transactor?" paglilinaw ni kuya Zero na nagpakunot sa aking noo.
Nalaman na ba niya? O alam na talaga niya noon pa? We don't remember telling him our secret. He doesn't even know about this secret group we've been working with. All along he knew about Raven being a gangster back in London and that's the reason why they transferred her back in the Philippines.
"Yes girls, It has been years since I discovered about your monkey businesses." pinaningkitan niya kami nang mata. "From establishing the Alpha Phi Omega, the gang fights, street racing, territorial wars and even some dangerous transactions from several mafia organization." mukhang nagulat naman ang mga lalaki pero agad naman nila iyong natakpan nang sikat nilang poker face. They also knew about our being gangsters but they have no idea of what the hellhole we've been up to, except for Thunder, we expect him to know about this before we could even reveal it.
"I have been monitoring the six of you. Though I tolerated it because I know when the time comes for you to inherit thine family's empire, your experiences will help you learn and shape yourselves. But, I think it's getting out of hand." napayuko na lang kami sa sinabi niya. I think he's right. Lately, we are losing control.
"We're very sorry kuya Zero." Alexis said.
"There's no need to say that. What's done is done. Let's just do our best and prevent the worst things to come." this is what we adore about kuya Zero. He is very optimistic and it leads him to be more understanding at times like this.
"Moving on. Paanong hindi niyo agad nalaman ang nangyari? Judging the time Theo called and the time she was taken, how?"
"It all started with the disc tape." pagsasalaysay ni Thunder. "Around 10:00 in the evening when we received a knock from the door. Jordan opened it to find no one except this disc on our doorstep." ipinakita niya ang tape at kinuha naman iyon ni kuya Zero.
"Before we received that disc Zariya called me asking if we have seen Raven, then the knock came. At first, we thought it was just a prank pulled-up by random students but when we played the video, it showed a CCTV footage of a familiar café downtown. It was then that we realized something is going on." Jordan added.
"Knowing Raven, if ever she goes on a mission on her own, she comes home on or before eight in the evening. But at that time she didn't. That's the time when we decided to go and ask the boys. It was then we watched the footage and saw that Raven was the one who was meeting up with a guy on a formal suit carrying a briefcase." Brenda continued.
Kuya Zero played the video and for the second time around, we watched it closely. Until two guys broke the silence when they slammed open the door and came in breathing heavily.
"Storm? Taylor?" gulat na sabi ni Alexis. Pati kami nabigla sa kanilang pagdating pero hindi nila inalis ang atensyon sa nakatatandang kapatid ni Raven.
"Kuya...I mean, sir Zerondaile Albreck, we just received news from the Night Sky Academy. The students are in danger due to an unknown serum that's been injected to each one of them." seryosong sabi ni Storm.
"That serum was formulated to target the main control system of the body which is the brain and that it gives the controller the access to manipulate the student's body. Truth be told, if the host endures the effect of the serum, it lives. If not, it dies." napasinghap ako sa sinabi ni Taylor. Such barbaric act of experimentation on the students must be put to an end at once!
"Thank you for the update. You may now rest." and the two guys strode out of the room.
"They were our cousins from the Pierre Family. Storix Mason Pierre and Tayson Lourd Pierre. I will explain everything later. But for now, I want all of Raven's things and hidden files to be brought here this instant." bigla na lang umalis ang dalawang maid na babae.
"The time has come..." Rinig kong bulong ni kuya at seryosong nakatingin sa napakalaking family portrait nang mga Albreck na nakadikit sa isang sulok.
Whatever they might be hiding, it must be something big.
