Raven's POV
Days passed and we're just one day away from the said outdoor camp held to promote eco-friendly environments and be nature ready.
"Now class, these letters were given for you to gain the permission in joining this off-campus event. Please be guided with the things you must bring and be informed of the rules we made." Our adviser said as she was handing some white envelope to us.
"Before I forget, since this year's camp will be pretty adventurous, each of you will have a buddy. And for us to make it fair, we personally chose your buddy whose name is written within that letter. No complaints and no exemptions. Good Luck." She strode out of the room going to her next class.
I opened the letter and immediately looked for the name of that buddy. But before I was able to find it, a guy wearing black shirt and jeans stood up in front of me. He was staring with those pair of Ocean Blue eyes like he was reading what's up within my head. I gave him a questioning look.
"Are you just gonna stare at me like that o baka naman may plano kang magsalita?"
"I won't be responsible with your actions. Kahit na buddy kita, hindi ako bubuntot kung saan ka man pupunta. So don't worry cause you have your own freedom." At saka siya tumungo sa kanyang inuupuan.
Clearly I can tell that he's my buddy. But I also don't have the plans of following him anywhere he goes. So let's call it a tie.

I woke up 5:30 in the morning. 8 o' clock ang alis namin papuntang Tagaytay. Nagawa ko nang ayusin ang mga dadalhin ko. Tent, Pillow, Blanket, Mosquito repellant, Jacket, LED light, Flashlight, Batteries, DSLR, Phone, Power bank, Clothes, Personal Hygiene and of course, Money I think everything is set.
By 7:00 a.m. nandoon na ako sa school. Pagka 7:30 ay kumpleto na lahat pero wala pa ang kasama ko. We were already loading the buses and he is still not around.
Thunder Valdemore. Mapapatay talaga kita kung hindi ka magpapakita. Limang minuto na lang bago umalis at nag simula nang mag-check attendance ang faci.
"Albreck" tawag sa apelyido ko at nag pataas naman ako ng kamay. "Valdemore?" sasabihin ko na sanang hindi pa dumating ng may nagsalita ng "present" at napalingon kaming lahat sa may pintuan.
Suot ang shades, headphone at dala-dala ang bag, umupo siya sa tabi ko na parang walang nangyari. "Morning" He said while fixing his things.
"That's it? Morning? Muntikan kanang maiwan sa byahe at ako mapapagalitan dahil wala kapa tapos ngayon, Morning? Wala kana bang masasabing mas maganda diyan?" hindi makapaniwala kong sabi.
"Like what I've said yesterday, WE don't need to worry about each other. I can handle myself so might as well mind your own business." Walang gatong niyang sabi at ibinalik ang atensyon sa pakikinig ng musika.
"Ok, fine. You won't hear anything from me again." I said while throwing my hands up in the air, feigning surrender.
We spoke a short prayer before going on. Thanks to that prayer I could keep my patience intact before I could do something to this creature beside me.
