Chapter 51 - Plan Into Action

Thunder's POV

I don't know what to do. It felt surreal to hear the words he just said. All this time, she was still alive. All this time she was in front of me. All this time I've been such a fool for not recognizing her. I've always hated her guts but I also had that feeling. The same feeling I had back when we were still young.

Avianna Margaux, you were an inch away from my grasp but for the second time around, I lost you again.

"I'm sorry Theo. We we're so sorry." kuya Zero said apologetically. I couldn't do anything but to let out a sigh of frustration.

"Why? Why can't she remember me?" I asked hoping to hear a positive answer from him. I hate it when I become vulnerable like this. Fuck!

"I have always known that you were the boy who rescued Raven from the mansion. but because of that tragic event, we decided to take her away. Hide her with a new name, and eventually, erase her memory."

I can hear the girls gasp and the boys cuss at what they have heard. Yes, anyone would do that as long as it will preserve their family's only heiress. Of course they would go that far, why haven't I thought of that from the start?

"Wait, Thunder sabi mo ikaw ang sumagip kay Raven sa nasusunog na bahay tama ba?" biglaang tanong ni Brenda at tumango naman ako.

"Mga bata pa kayo noon at noong sinagip mo siya ay nasa loob kayo nang kwartong nasusunog kung saan may lalaking hawak ang isang baril na nakatutok sa kay Raven." Dagdag ni Alexis.

"How did you know?" tanong ko sa kanila.

"Nasa hospital kami noon matapos ang aksidenteng nangyari sa race track. Naikwento niyang may napanaginipan siya." sabi ni Tiara.

"Naalala ko na! She told us that in her dream there were gun shots, a house was burning, people were screaming and blood is everywhere." Zariya was looking at the ceiling as if she was trying to recall what Raven had said.

"That was her dream. It wasn't true but it felt real. If that's the case then maybe her memory is slowly returning." Isabelle topped it all with her conclusion. I hope so.

"That is what I am trying to figure out right now. We intended to erase her memories so that trauma would not hunt her until we get back here in the Philippines." he was pacing back and forth like he is unsure of what he will say but then he continued.

"As far as I can remember, the mansion was closed and we made sure that she will never recall anything because if ever she does, it often gives her a breakdown. But recently I heard from one of our caretakers that she often goes to the old Pierre Mansion. The caretaker said she entered Sir Caesar's room." He stopped his pace and started rummaging through Raven's things and a black notebook was caught up by his hand.

"The journal." he whispered to himself but it was enough for us to hear. Just as he was about to open that journal when my phone rang and they all turned to me. I looked at the caller ID and it was...

Yuki Calling...

"Yuki, How's everything going?" I turned on the speaker for them to hear what she has to say.

"Kuya, everything here's gotten worse." I can hear panting from the other line. "The students were being manipulated and they're using them to kill the faculty. Taylor overheard the men talking and they said that they are preparing the secret lab for the transferring of the main host. I can't assure you but I have a hunch that they are pertaining to Raven." If that is the case then she is still alive.

"Shanon, where are they? Nasaan sina Storm?" tanong ni kuya Zero.

"Storm is at the old administrative building with some men. Nililinisan at inaayos nila iyon para magamit natin sa pagbabantay sa paaralan gaya nang inutos ni kuya Thunder. Taylor is currently spying on the Director---oh shit!" bigla siyang napamura sa kabilang linya.

"Yuki? Yuki!"

"Look, We don't have much time, five of our men were down and they're still increasing in numbers. I have to go." and with that, the call ended.

"That's it. Enough of the story-telling. Kailangan na nating gumawa nang hakbang. I can't just let the students nor the teachers die within that horrid place." sabi ni Andrei at tumayo na mula sa kanyang inuupuan. He really is a responsible vice president.

"Fine, I'll go with Storm. I volunteer to establish a clear visual of the school through the surveillance cameras. Who's with me?" diretsahang sabi ni Zariya.

"I will." Jordan answered and they walked straight out of the door.

"I think I can help in hacking the enemy's system. I'm with Jordan." sabi ni Harris.

"Me too. I'm quite good with firewalls. I'm in." sabat ni Isabelle at sabay silang umalis nang silid.

"Brenda" Alexis called out and then whispered something to her ear. They both hurriedly went out of the room.

"Ark, outside." Andrei said and they quickly vanished from our sight.

"Oh well, I'll just sleep here if you need anything." humiga si Cody sa isang sofa pero hindi nagtagal ay tinapunan siya ni Tiara nang unan.

"Hoy lalake! Wag kang feeling special diyan! Tumayo ka at tumulong dito!" sabay tulak niya sa sofang hinihigaan ni Cody na dahilan para siya mahulog mula rito.

"That's enough." sabi ko kaya natahimik sila. Tss hanggang dito talaga nag-aaway parin and dalawang isip-bata na ito.

"I will give you a special job." sabi ni kuya Zero habang may tinitingnan sa cellphone niya. "I want the two of you to find the blueprint of the whole Night Sky Academy."

"Huh?!" sabay nilang sabi.

"Eh bakit kami? Mahirap hanapin yon kuya!" reklamo ni Tiara.

"Oo nga, baka mapunit pa namin yon malaking pinsala pagnangyari." sabat ni Cody. Aba't talagang nagkaisa pa ang dalawa.

"Edi wag niyong punitin kung ayaw niyong kayo ang punitin ko." inip na sabi ni kuya Zero at nabigla naman ang dalawa. "At the Pierre Mansion, inside our grandfather's office, basta hanapin niyo. Tinawagan ko na ang caretakers at sinabihan kong darating kayo." sabay bigay niya sa susi.

"Make sure you find it on time before the games begin." nagmadali namang umalis ang dalawa. Paalis na rin ako nang tinapik niya ang aking balikat at napalingon naman ako sa kanya.

"I forgot to say this but, I think her memories are gradually being restored by her own brain. Knowing my sister, she won't be doing anything unless it drives her curiousity. If she did went to the old mansion then maybe she's trying to recall those lost memories." tinitigan niya ako mata sa mata.

"Remember Theo, the brain forgets but the heart remembers."
