Brenda's POV
"Maam, Sir hanggang dito na lang po kayo." sabi nang nurse habang sinasara ang pinto nang Emergency Room. Fuck it.
Raven naman, ba't ngayon pa?
"Nanalo nga siya, disgrasya naman ang inabot niya. Tsk." tahimik na sabi ni Storm na parang naiinis sa nangyari. Minsan hindi ko rin maintindihan ang lalaking to. He acts like an enemy but he also cares about his opponent. Hindi sana namin siya pinayagang sumama pero nag pumilit eh kaya pinabayaan na lang namin.
Oo, nanalo si Raven sa race pero sa pagtawid niya nang finish line ay bigla na lang sumabog ang isang piyesa nang makina at bumangga siya sa railings nang race track, mabuti nga at hindi sumabog ang sasakyan.
Tsk. I'm sure she checked the car before she even positioned on the line. Even the car was brand new.
"Sa bilis nang takbo niya malamang ay malapit na niyang maabot ang max throttle kaya siguro pumutok ito pagkarating niya sa finish line." sabi ni Andrei.
"But reaching the max throttle, it won't result in direct explosion. It decreases the car's speed, making the engine unable to accelerate anymore and eventually, it would take time for the car to overheat and explode." sabi naman ni Thunder. He should be worried even if they're just fake, it is still his responsibility to take care of Raven.
"Thunder" napatingin kami sa lalaking kararating lang at naka formal attire pa na halatang galing sa trabaho.
"What happened? I immediately rushed here after you called." seryosong sabi ni kuya Zero.
"I'm sorry it's my fault. I should've asked the mechanic to check the car first. It exploded after she reached the finish line." ngayon ko lang nakita si Thunder na humingi nang tawad. Most of the time he's full of pride and sarcasm. Minsan nga kahit mali niya ay hinahanapan pa niya nang palusot.
"It's ok. I understand. You should all go to rest now. Darating narin mamaya ang mga guards at ilang personal nurses na magbabantay." sabi ni kuya Zero at isa-isa na kaming umalis. Wala na namang dapat ikabahala kapag si kuya Zero na ang nagsabi.
Huli na akong makabalik sa school at nagsiuwian na rin ang ibang mga estudyante naglalakad na ako pabalik nang dorm nang hindi sinasadyang makarinig ako nang paguusap sa may alleyway nang Corvus Building at Andromeda Building.
"Who the fuck told you to touch the goddamn car?"
Sumilip ako nang bahagya mula dito sa pinagtataguan ko at nakita si Thunder na hawak ang isang swiss knife habang habang nakatutok ito sa leeg nang lalaki. Teka, yun yung lalaking racer mula sa Vladimir Institute. Kung ganon, foul play pala ang nangyari at hindi aksidente.
"I've got nothing to tell you." sagot nang lalaki na halatang kinakabahan kahit umaakto pa siyang matapang.
"Then someone must have paid you for that." mukhang nauubusan na nang pasensya si Thunder, hinahaplos niya ang mukha nang lalaki gamit ang kutsilyong hawak niya.
"Oh well, I pity your soul." sa pagsabi niya noon ay bumaon sa leeg nang lalaki ang swiss knife at agad itong bumulagta sa lupa. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa nakita. I wasn't expecting him to actually kill the guy.
"Yu Shin, I've got a corpse for you to clean." may kausap siya sa cellphone. Agad naman akong nagtago para hindi niya ako makita. I have never seen this side of him. Masyado siyang delikado at nakakatakot.

*Subconscious Mind*
I hear gun shots. Bullets came from everywhere. People were screaming and crying. Blood trickled on the floor and fire is starting to burn this mansion I am in.
Suddenly it's hard to breath. Smoke is filling my lungs as if it was preventing me to take in air.
A man was holding a gun. He was aiming at me. Fear is creeping on my nerves. I can feel the tears streaming down my face. My heart is pounding on my chest.
He pulled the trigger. I closed my eyes.
*Bang*Bang*
"Avi!" someone's calling my name.
I opened my eyes to see a boy standing few meters away from me.
He was holding a gun. And the man a while ago is now lying dead on the floor.
He ran to me and held my hand. "Come with me."
We were running...running...running...
Until everything became a blur.
The next thing I knew I was still running. But this time I was all alone. In a field so wide, the boy who helped me was gone.
There were students running. They were being chased. Others were dead, some were shot and the firing was still there.
I was also running without direction. Suddenly my feet became heavy. Each step was too hard to make. It felt like I was glued on the ground. Blood were now scattered everywhere. Dead bodies can be seen anywhere.
Two men caught me. Each held my arms at both sides. I was struggling to escape but to no avail. Too strong. They brought me inside the car. They covered my face.
My eyes felt heavy. They were dragging me to sleep. Tempting me to embrace the dark space I will be heading.
S-silence...

[Brenda's POV]
"It felt surreal. It was almost a dream but somehow something is telling me it happened before." pagkukwento ni Raven sa amin kung anong mga napanaginipan niya sa kanyang pagtulog sa hospital noong nakaraang araw.
"Maybe because you knocked your head unconscious on that accident." sabi ni Zariya.
"Hmm. Maybe."
I don't know but something in my gut is telling me that it really happened. From the way she narrates it to the way she express the feeling.
We haven't really known Raven for so long. Nakilala namin siya nang magsimulang mabuo ang Alpha Phi Omega. Kilala namin ang kanyang pamilya dahil magkasosyo ang mga magulang namin sa negosyo.
Except from the fact that she was born here in the Philippines and migrated to London other than that, we have no idea, but one thing is for sure.
Her identity remains a mystery to us.
