Chapter 12 - A Spy In Our Midst

*Main Hideout*

"Zeus you are needed in one of our bases. Nagkakagulo doon." Sabi ni Eros habang nagmamadaling umalis.

Mabilis akong nakarating sa base kung saan nagkakagulo. Biglang tumahimik ang lahat ng iparada ko na ang aking sasakyan. Suot-suot ko ang aking mask para hindi ako makilala. Every step I take I knew everyone is staring. Everyone is stepping aside for me to pass through. Nakita ko ang isang lalakeng naka upo at babaeng may hawak ng baril na itinututok sa lalake.

"Chronos, What happened here? Bakit hindi ninyo maayos ang gulong ito? Tanong ko sa kanya.

"Yang babaeng yan," sabay turo niya sa babaeng may baril at naka mask "Bigla siyang dumating dito dala ang lalaking yun." Turo naman niya sa naka itim na lalake.

"Nalaman niyang isang espiya ang lalake at mula ito sa atin dahil sa tattoo na nakita nito sa kaliwang braso." Habang nagsasalita si Chronos ay nilapitan ko ang lalakeng iyon.

"Tiningnan ko ang tatoong iyon at tama nga siya pero, wala akong naaalalang espiya na ipinadala natin sa kahit na anong grupo." Pagpapatuloy ni Chronos.

Nangmalapitan ko ang lalake ay tinitigan kong mabuti ang kanyang pagmumukha. I am certain that I've never seen his face but he looks familiar to me.

His tattoo looks just the same as ours but I have to be specific with the details so I must take a quick shot of this.

"What are you doing?" tanong ng babaeng may hawak na baril. Tiningnan ko siya mula ulo hanggang paa.

Her curly hair was tied up, she's wearing light make-up, leather jacket, boots and mask with a symbol of their group I presume, was embroidered on it. I stared into her forest green eyes. And she did the same.

"If I'm not mistaken, this bastard here is under your syndicate. I'm sorry for busting my way out of here but I have to return this idiot to its rightful owner."She tucked the gun back inside her jacket.

"And sorry to bust your bubble but I don't remember sending any spy to any group including yours. You can take that idiot with you." Just as I was about to walk when she said something that caught my attention.

"Lightning Zeus, superior of the Olympians Syndicate and the fastest car racer in the world of street racing. I didn't mean to disturb you but what I have given away, I don't ever take it back."

"He already told you. That bastard isn't one of our novice. Kung ipipilit mo pa ay patayin mo na lang." Chronos said irritated.

"Ok if you say so..." she pulled her gun and shot the man straight on the forehead.

Others gasped at what they just saw but that was nothing to me. I don't give a damn about that person. He's of no use anyway.

"The next time I see another novice of yours spying on my faction, I'm going to make sure it doesn't get to your base alive." She warned as if to threaten me.

"And if I find out that your just using this for an excuse to enter our premise, better make sure your army of weaklings are prepared for battle." I said it loud and clear for everyone in this place to hear.

"No need to say that. Hell awaits you." I watched her as she disappeared through thin air.

Hera's POV

"I can't believe this! Paanong may traidor ang nakapasok sa faction natin?!" galit na saad ni Athena ng makabalik ako sa headquarters.

"Ang alam ko, sa Pioneers ni Pontus napapabilang ang isang iyon. How come you didn't know that Pon?" tanong ko sa kanya habang siya naman ay malalim ang iniisip.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out. It's a good thing you killed that person. Para hindi na kumalat ang mga info tungkol sa atin sa iba."

"Di natin alam kung marami pa silang nakapasok sa atin. How can we figure this out?" tanong ni Apollo.

"By tomorrow I want everyone to start checking background informations sa lahat ng mga Treblers down to the last Maven. Every copy should be given to me or Athena by next week. Start now." Umalis ako sa headquarters para makapag muni-muni.

In my age as of now, I'm supposed to have fun and worry about nothing but this responsibility is taking that freedom away from me.
