Knowing is scary.
If the end of the world was tomorrow and you didnt know, you could live your final day on earth like any other and not regret all of your decisions. You could simply live.
But if you did know, you would be scrambling to correct all your mistakes and fix all your problems in the little space of time that you have left.
Knowing is scary because you cant hide from it anymore. You cant shove it back into the depths of your mind and ignore it anymore. Its just there.
Its like a clock ticking in the back of your mind. Every second you can hear the distant motion, like footsteps of an impending doom. You cant block out a clock.
Knowing is scary because everything could change and you dont want it to. You just want it to stay. You want the happiness and the bliss to be with you forever, but we both know that wont happen.
Something's gotta change.
