"Glad to see you are drinking what you should be drinking now, and if all this is true, then Ellie is playing Hypno…but I doubt Hypno will leave her, he will take her so she isn’t smart enough to get out of her situation, just to make it easier. But if they have feelings for each other then we can use it against them," Daniel stated.

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking…but I think an attack is coming very soon…we need to make Nick angry so he attacks before the hunters get here so we both get caught in the fire so we are both weakened, not just us," I explained.

"Alright, since everyone can hear us Blade can go do something with a team to aggravate them into attacking, but only if you think we are ready…" Daniel said.

"We have been training very hard, with some very old vampires who are wise and know how to fight, I think we are ready," I assured.

"Alright, then Blade will be assembling a team as we speak and the plan will be in motion, everyone should be getting ready. Everyone should drink blood to strengthen them to their fullest, should be well rested, and should wear some protection incase Nick plays dirty and uses weapons," Daniel said to me, but was really making an announcement to the castle.

Seconds later we could hear vampires all over getting ready. I headed to Greg and Alex's room to see how they were after dinner. I opened the door slowly and Alex was sitting in bed drawing and Greg was reading a book.

"Hey guys," I greeted.

"Hey, what's going on?  Alex looked worried a few seconds ago but told me it was nothing," Greg asked.

"Before you tell him, I wasn’t sure if he was allowed to know, I just didn’t want to make you upset Andrew," Alex defended.

"It's alright Alex, Greg has a right to know…There might be an army of vampires heading this way in a couple hours…and the hunters might come later on too…" I explained hoping he wouldn't freak out.

"Oh…seems safe…"Greg commented sarcastically.

"Look I can keep you in a room that no one will be able to get into…" I offered.

"Where would that be? What room could a vampire not enter with their strength," Greg questioned.

"The dungeon, its bars cannot be bent by us, Dracula remade them in a rare metal that vampires just aren't strong enough to get through," I explained.

"So the only safe place is the dungeon? Lock me up then," Greg said with a half smile.

"Okay, I will make it so it's comfortable down there, and Alex I want you to stay with Greg too," I demanded.

"What? But I am a half vampire!" Alex protested.

"Exactly, half vampire, you are still human, and I want you protected."

I found Lydia who showed them down to the dungeons, and she and her sister helped make it more comfortable for them. I went down to the corridor to find everyone in uniform and drinking blood. Blade was holding my uniform and helped me get into it. It was leather, with a sheet of metal over it.  Daniel handed me a bottle of blood.

"But I have already had one today, and a couple of cups," I protested.

"But you are the leader, you need strength, the most strength to lead us," Daniel countered.

Reluctantly I grabbed the bottle and started to down it. In these circumstances all vampires were to drink excessively to be at their strongest, but on normal circumstances to only have maybe a quart.

"Alright all in the courtyard now," I stated and started to march forward.

Once everyone was in the courtyard the moon was almost at its highest and brightest.

"We are going to have to fight these guys with Holy water, fire, stakes, also breaking a neck is a way to kill us apparently…a less known fact… also to slow them down, since they are Nobles, we are stacked up on salt. So the chefs around here are going to give you each a couple vials of salt to put in your belts, and you will be given holy water in vials. Fire…well that will be the hardest to use since we can't really get too close or …well, you know. Blade gather a team and set up some traps in the ground, and make them flammable," I ordered.

Everyone was receiving their salt and Holy water looking terrified to touch it. The chefs made sure there was a big stock of salt and Holy water, and gladly we had plenty left after everyone got their "weapons" to say. Daniel told everyone to find a spot to hide and ambush the attack. Everyone scuttled in different directions and Daniel, Blade and I were the only ones left in sight.

"You are what Nick wants, you are the bait. You should be in your room near the window and the chefs should be running around and talking as if nothing is happening. Blade and I are going to be hiding in places that would benefit your protection," Daniel explained.

Nodding, I went up to my room and sat near the window and pretended to right a letter, looking like I was busy. It only took about twenty minutes before the first group attacked the castle. Immediately two groups of our vampires attacked them with the holy water and salt, and decapitated them. I swore I heard a wolf howl, but that could have been my imagination. Minutes later braver vampires from Nick's side sped in and almost made it into the castle but Blade's team attacked them, and a real battle started. And soon two more groups of vampires attacked, and our vampires were on them quickly. Looking out of my window there was a bloodbath. Vampires were fighting everywhere I looked, and one group was being pushed back by Blade's team, and they fell into the trench and flames rose high when they hit the ground. All the vampires hissed and bared their teeth at the flames and backed up.

Soon I saw Hypno-flame, and Nick. Hypno raced ahead but was stopped by Blade and they began a fight together. Nick casually strode across the castle grounds like he was taking a relaxing walk, avoiding on coming vampires, and ducking from stakes, and got pretty close to the castle before he was attacked by a group I didn’t even know was hidden, and they blocked him from entering the castle. Soon arrows and tiny stakes were flying through the air, meaning the hunters were somewhere hidden and found places to shoot from. Some of the arrows exploded in flames on contact, making the vampires sneer and back off. Soon the ground troops of the hunters were there attacking with every possible way to kill. Harm, or weaken a vampire. They got vampires from both sides, and Vlad was here, I saw him. He was on the stone wall watching the horror scene play before him.

I heard him chuckle with delight until he saw Ellie tied to a tree on our property. I hadn't noticed her there before, but Hypno must have brought her and tied her there. Strategically any hunter who tried to get close would die, vampires attacked from every side. Ellie and I were bait…which sucker, because we didn’t get to do anything but watch our comrades die. Vlad raced across the field and aimed his cross bow at Nick, and took a shot. Nick didn’t see it coming until it was too late. The stake missed his heart by merely two inches and Nick cowered and shrieked from pain, and Blade spilled his Holy water on Nick while he was down, making Nick roar.

Blade was about to end it all, when Hypno attacked Blade knocking him off his feet.  I took this opportunity to leave the castle and help, if Nick was fighting so should I. Racing downstairs I sped to the courtyard and attacked the first Noble I saw. He was weaker than I was, and I easily took him out. I saw Daniel struggling to defeat this bulky Noble who had size as his advantage, so I ran to help Daniel. Attacking him from behind I broke his neck and he fell to the ground, Daniel tore his head off so he wouldn’t be able to come back. I saw Nick struggling on the ground, he got up and tore the stake out and growled and looked my way.
