“Today is the day Hypno, are you ready?” Nick’s voice said through my phone.
“Yes, I know the plan, Violet will be ours,” I said.
“Good, see you and Violet soon,” Nick said before hanging up the phone.
It was just becoming light out at the airport. I sped to the plane that was being prepped for take off. The pilot came out and it was a woman and a smile crept on my face. I casually walked out in front of her and she began to protest that I was there until I spoke.
“You never saw me,” I said looking into her eyes.
“Never saw you,” she responded.
I walked on the private jet and sat in the co-pilots seat until the pilot came back. I started talking and convinced her I was her co-pilot and to not mention me to anyone. She complied. How women are so easily persuaded… By the time Violet arrived with Bruce the sun was out and it seemed to be around ten o’clock. The pilot went to greet them and once everyone was in the jet, the pilot began to pull out onto the runway. I could hear Violet and Bruce talking. Violet seemed to be nervous, which was not like her at all. Some warrior she was. I slept for most of the flight and when I awoke I saw we were on the descent. Violet and Bruce appeared to be sleeping too. How the pilot stayed awake was beyond me.
Once we landed, Violet and Bruce gathered their things and were escorted onto the next plane. I followed behind them unnoticed and grabbed Violet and sped off with her squirming in my arms. I dropped her once we were at the edge of the airport. I held her down until Bruce got on the plane.
“Why now?” Violet scowled.
“Why not?” I countered to which she kept silent.
When Bruce’s plane took off, I stood up and held Violet and pushed her into the jet that appeared on the runway. She tried to fight me and tried to struggle but to no avail. She was captured and the war would be over soon.
“You know you’ll never win the war,” Violet spat as the jet took off.
“I wouldn’t be too sure if I were you,” I smiled.
“Andrew will never give in,” Violet snapped.
“We’ll see about that,” I said with a wicked grin on my face.
I got out of my seat and sat next to Violet who turned her head away in disgust. Did she not understand what I was going to do? She made this too easy! I grabbed her head and shoulder and kept her still as my fangs plunged into her soft pale skin. Shock took over her body for she squirmed at first but I dug my nails into her shoulder as a warning to keep still. I drank heavily, not enough to do damage to her, but definitely to weaken her. Her blood was extremely good I had to admit. Ellie’s was my favorite by far, but Violet came a close second. Must be their fiery personalities. Once I felt Violet go limp I stopped drinking. Pulling my fangs out I licked her neck where my fangs penetrated and saw the two holes heal right up. They would leave a scar though. She was now marked by a vampire. No other Mut vampire had any right to even think about drinking from her.
Muts, since they are the outcasts of vampires have their own rules for their special abilities. No Mut may drink from a marked human, or there would be consequences. And since Muts had uneven fangs, each bite mark was unique. My bite mark was well known by others, so they knew not to touch my food. In a way I have just given Violet protection from the Mut vampires of this world, she should thank me when she awakes. The third jet ride was fast, and when we arrived at our campsite Violet was waking.
