Hey Violet, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hangout today? Let me know

-                Luke

I didn’t respond until I finished my work and got back to him around three.

Hey, sorry I didn’t respond earlier, had homework. Um, if you're still up to it, sure we can hang. -Violet

He texted back that he would meet me at my house. Shortly after, he rang the doorbell and said he was glad that I agreed to hangout. He told me to grab anything I needed and to go in his car. Grabbing my cell phone I walked to the front door and remembered what I had just learned and raced to my room to grab my vial of wolfsbane. When I got in the car it looked overcast but Luke said it shouldn’t rain, and when I asked him where we were going to he said that it was supposed to be a surprise, which really confused me, he even blindfolded me so I wouldn’t recognize the way to wherever we were going. Once we got there he led me, blindfolded, to wherever the location was, and when he stopped and un-blindfolded me it was the grave yard that I was in when Vlad called for my decision.

"Why have you brought me here?" I questioned.

"Because I think you need an explanation to why I might have been acting weird lately," Luke said as we walked through the graveyard.

When we stopped it was in front of a fresh grave, it read "James Hull 1993-2012". I looked at Luke for an explanation since I didn’t recognize the name.

"He was a family friend, a friend of mine and recently passed away, and I just don't know how to deal with death since I can't really die…" Luke whispered.

"I am so sorry Luke," I said as I hugged him.

"My parents wouldn’t give me much detail about his death, which made me angry with them since he was one of my friends," Luke said.

"Maybe how he died was not the best way to die and they are protecting you," I suggested.

" I don't need to be protected," Luke defended.

"Maybe you do by the way you are taking his death. I am sorry Luke," I said still holding him.

Realizing it was getting long, I released him and stepped away. Luke gave a weak smile and stared at the grave. I didn’t know how long we sat there in silence but it got dark before we spoke again.

"Wow, it’s getting late…" Luke said stating the obvious.

"Sure is…" I replied as I looked around realizing how dark it really was.

"I guess I should take you home," Luke said.

"Yeah, guess so."

"Violet, thanks for being with me right now, I mean I think I just needed someone to be there for me," Luke said shyly.

"I'll always be there for you," I said.

Luke started walking back towards where he parked the car and I followed behind him glancing in every direction completely alert of my surroundings, or so I thought when I tripped.

"Are you okay?" Luke said helping me up.

"Yeah, but are these new graves?" I asked and Luke sniffed the air.

"Yeah, just buried yesterday I would guess, why?" Luke asked.

"No reason," I said even though every bone in my body tensed with his answer.

While doing homework earlier I had taken a break and looked up werewolves and I found that werewolves were often found in graveyards consuming freshly buried corpses. I started to walk but Luke stayed where he was.
