*(this was yet another review that had to be re-edited because of Mapleshade and her force of Dark Forest cats messing with the 4th wall.)

Fandom: Sonic

Nickname(s): Scrap, Mi-mi (by her sister)

Species: Lynx

Age: 13

Appearance: Miia is average height, and her fur/hair is a mix of light brown with chocolatey tips. Her underbelly is a lighter shade of tan. Her eyes are brown.

Wears: She typically wears a pair of black shorts with an orange belt. She wears an orange and white crop top over a blank tank top. Her sneakers are orange, black and white high tops. She wears a brown bandana and sometimes wears brown gloves but it's not often.

Personality: She's a very feisty and spunky girl who won't take anyone's crap. She loves a good joke and is always cracking them. She sees the world through rose tinted glasses and always looks for the positive in life. She's just your bouncy bubbly type of person. She's something of a mechanic and loves working on mechanical projects. She gets along well with Tails and Amy.

Family: Shira (mom), Andy (dad), Rika (sister)

Likes: Sweets, machines and working with them, sunny days, cherry soda

Dislikes: Spicy food, storms, spiders, Shadow (because of his general brooding attitude), when her projects fail/break

Fears: Spiders she has serious arachnophobia

Hobbies: Building things, helping Tails, messing around with Amy, having insult wars with Sonic

Backstory: Miia was given the nickname Scrap by her mother because she would always catch her outback playing with little bits and pieces of scrap metal. She had no connection to Sonic and his friends until she came face to face with the blue blur himself. She has a love/hate relationship with Sonic because of how they met. He accidentally ran into her, literally. He was speeding on his way and flattened the poor lynx. He was nice enough to stop and check on her but it was because of this that she got caught up in his group. She introduced herself as Scrap and found herself getting along well with Tails. She loved helping him out with his various projects and would gladly spend hours working on them. At first she found Amy loud and annoying but she soon discovered there was more to the pink girl and they became friends. To this day she is still wary of Sonic but she has put that behind her...mostly.

Crush: Tails (it's more of the hopeless crush type of thing though)

Extra: The first thing she ever built was a robotic cat for her sister (which was a series of trail and error and took almost a year to get right)

Quote: "Shadow just bums me out. Too dark and snappy for my taste."

xD sorry, sorry, I am getting carried away. I'll start reviewing now before my dark fangirl side starts showing!

I seriously love this character. Not just because she's a Sonic OC, either. It's the fact that she stands out from most Sonic OCs that I like about her.

For starters, she doesn't have this really sad story where she's getting beat or bullied and one of the Sonic characters jumps in like," Aw, you poor thing, come let me shower you with love."
She has a perfectly good family that has both a Mom and a Dad AND a sibling that doesn't treat her like crap.
I love her animal type, it's not something I usually come across.
Her appearance is great and isn't filled with ridiculous rainbow colors and "rare" colored eyes.
I like her personality. It's pretty well balanced.
Also, her name (as well as her sister's name) is unique, along with her nickname.
AND they way she gets along with Amy and Sonic is amazing. In most stories, the MC gets along with almost ALL the characters except for Amy. I like how Miia doesn't get along with Sonic all the time and how it took a little bit to be friends with Amy.
Also, even though she has a crush on Tails, you said it was a "hopeless crush" situation, which is something I don't see very often.

She gets along well with her crush right as she meets him, and that's something that I see in nearly every fanfiction ever.
Her being 13 is a common age. The whole fandom is crawling with teenagers...

I loved this character and how she was made.

And no, I did NOT rate her high because she's a Sonic OC and I am obsessed/addicted to the franchise. *(I felt like I had to put that because I know somebody somewhere will probably feel like I did do this. And I swear I didn't.)
