Birth name: Rose Sophia Adams

Chosen Name: Alexander John Adams

Nickname: The friends he has put to call him Alexander Hamilton, like the founding father.

Appearance: Due to his birth sex he has feminine features, but it is still hard to determine whether he is a male or female without knowing beforehand. His dark brown hair is uneven and roughly cut, because he did it himself. His eyes are dark blue and he is blind in one eye because he somehow managed to get bleach in it.

Sexuality: Gay as fuuuuuck

Crush/relationship: Percy Weasley (from Harry Potter)

Illness or Disease: Depression

Positive traits: Resourceful, cunning, overprotective of those he loves, intelligent

Flaws: Untrusting, bitter, cold, he seems to solve every problem by punching somebody, will hex anybody who hurts who he cares about

Hobbies: Studying, climbing trees, practicing hexes and jinxes

Background: He's a transgender kid trying to navigate his way through Hogwarts. That is all there is to say.

I've stated in the last Harry Potter fan character review that I've never been into the Harry Potter franchise, so my knowledge is limited.
That being said, feel free to call me out if this feels like an unfair review.

You played the transgender part well in this, making it affect his appearance along with a couple other things.

He has a Canon crush, which alarms me a bit, but I'm not taking off for this. Just be careful how you use this.
He has a nice balance of good traits and flaws, though the "overprotective of those he loves" is a bit cliche. Again, not taking off for this, I'm just saying this as a warning.

Something that bothered me was his backstory. It was a tad bland. I'm not saying he needs some terrible backstory or a totally happy one.
I'm saying it's like if I tried describing my backstory and instead of pulling out any important details, I simply said," I'm just a teenage girl getting through life."

What makes this character who he is? Does his backstory tie into his depression? What made him decide to go transgender?

Especially make sure his depression is explained. I didn't ask for any sort of clarification on the example profile, so I won't take off, but just please make sure you didn't throw this on there to give your character forced pity by readers or to make them appear more interesting.
