Aliases: The Good Doctor
Occupation: Battle medic (decommissioned), Superhero
Age: 32
Appearance: A brunette man with nearly trimmed hair that compliments his short handle bar mustache but his superhero costume is this:
A Stirnpanzer and a Brain Bowl as tinted science goggles protect his face along with a lab coat that covers his lower face and wears a bulletproof vest.
Malfunction: Survivors guilt, mild deafness
Backstory: Adam Prescott believed in an oath: "Do no harm" even in the battlefields of Afghanistan where he was drafted in a fresh age of 22.
Helping his fellow Americans and meeting the locals in the same medical tent he was being operated 4 years didn't sound too bad.
That is until a stray grenade blew up in the ten but as the dust settled he saw the bodies of the men he laughed and shared stories with, the men, women, and children he didn't know all that well that wanted out of the horrors of war and men that screamed as their legs, arms, and face blew off yet he was unscathed and was left with mild deafness but something inside him broke.
Unable to operate anymore he was sent home but everything felt different as his home looked like a morgue, crying one night he deemed something was important.
Do no harm. Those three words ringed in his ear for a whole night and went to business.
Kept all night to create a device that releases both a small dose of nicotine and dopamine that calms anyone who breaths it, he was determined to prevent any man made incident as bank robbers, carjackers and other criminals are arrested with a calm mind thanks to a changed Adam.
Weapons: A doctors bag, the "inhaler" and a fire axe in case of emergencies.
**The creator, @Thecoldboringguy157, did not plan this character's story ahead of time.
Where, oh where, to begin?
His choice of weaponry is pretty fricking cool. Since he's "do no harm" and all, it fits well into his character.
The "inhaler" was a nice touch. His age is decent– definitely better than the teen heroes I keep seeing.
I like the fact that he's a "Superhero", but he doesn't have any powers. There are too many hero-type characters that have super abilities. I think we often forget that one of our greatest DC Comics Heroes is Batman, a guy with literally no powers. So nice job here!Adam's fears both have logical reasons behind them. I love the reason why he became a hero and his catch phrase.
What does confuse me is his returning home after the explosion. You said it was because he was "unable to operate anymore", but you never stated clearly why. I'm assuming it's because the event traumatized him, because the only injuries sustained were minor deafness and probably a few scrapes.
Also, how DID he survive the bomb? All these others were caught in the blast, but for some reason he came out unharmed. Why?
Besides that, this character felt a bit bland. Besides the fact he's a hero, the reason why, his weaponry, and a few other minor details, I literally know nothing about this character. I only know about the part of him effected by his accident.
But then again, you did say you didn't really plan his story.
6/10.
The main problem is how little detail he has.
Tell me if I screwed up or if something I said just didn't sound right. I'll gladly correct anything.
