Chapter 46

Marian walked down stairs to find Harry in the kitchen making a sandwich.  "You wanna share that with me and watch a little telly?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows at him.

"Sounds good to me, did you get settled in alright?"

"I did, thanks for asking," she said.

They settled on the couch and were both surprised to see Much Ado About Nothing was on. He kissed her cheek and handed her his half of his sandwich.

" I simply love that movie," she said stretching her arms.

"I'm going to grab some crisps, you pick out the next thing for us to watch."

Harry watched her walk away.  He loved to watch her move. He haphazardly turned the channel not really paying much attention.  "Thank you for staying with me, I think we will have a great time this week. Just forget about the rest of the world and solely focus on recommitting to each other," he said when she returned to the couch.

Marian leaned over and kissed his cheek.  "Fingers crossed."

"Breaking news ladies, Harry Styles is now a free man. His divorce from his first wife Marian Swan become official early this week." The news anchor said.

"Let me turn that off, rubbish news," he insisted.

"No, I want to hear what they have to say about this ex wife of yours."

Harry had a bad feeling that this night would end in tears.

"Tonight our lead story is Harry Styles and Marian Swan have divorced. The two separated last year after it became clear to Mr. Styles his wife was in love with fellow band mate Louis Tomlinson." They went on and Harry was surprised Marian was taking this news so well.

"Mr. Styles wasn't without company. He dated many models during their split. We have all been wondering what has taken the pair so long to make it official. Especially since Louis Tomlinson and Marian welcomed a son into the world late last year. A source close to the couple told us that it was the death of the Tomlinson's son that helped Harry to realize he could no longer hold on to his wife and he is ready to move on with his life."

The moment the story was over. Harry's phone seemed to start blowing up. He received a dozen or so text messages. He looked over at Marian who had tears in her eyes.

"Who is texting you?"

"It doesn't matter to me. You are what matters."

"I want to see your phone." She insisted

"Okay, I have nothing to hide," he said handing over his phone.

Marian looked over it and of course he had a dozen women taking about seeing the entertainment news story and they had heard he was now a single man.  They were all looking forward to seeing him again. Stating how much they enjoyed their time with him last year and wanted to reconnect with him.  The one that pissed her off the most was from Kendall Jenner. She despised this woman and could not fathom Harry ever wanting to be with her.

She quickly tapped on Kendall's name.

Just because I'm divorced doesn't mean that I'm free. Never contact me again!

What? You aren't making sense. You told me once you were divorced we could try again. That we would pick up bashing our exes while drinking naked in my swimming pool.

Marian practically snarled at the text.   "You told another woman to text you the moment you were divorced and free?"

"You were with Louis, I didn't think anything would come of it," he said with a shrug of his shoulders.
