Chapter 59

For the next week, Zayn and Kaia hardly left the house. Let alone the bedroom. They spent their time rediscovering everything that they loved about each other.   They literally couldn't keep their hands off of each other.

They did venture out once to get groceries.

They talked about everything. From everything that had happened with Liam. And Kaia told him everything. Even though it broke her heart telling him.

They talked about their future, their dreams and desires. Marian came up once in a while, but they spent the time focusing on each other and their relationship.  And rebuilding their life together.

Kaia was up super early. She could barely contain her excitement. She would get to see her babies today. She was like a madwoman cleaning as she and Zayn had been nothing but bums the past several days.

She showered and got dressed and then began to shake her husband awake. "Baby," she said. "Don't you need to get up soon?"

"Kaia you are killing me. I need my beauty sleep." He said.  "What time is it?"

"I can't help it you've kept me up for all hours this past week," she teased and kissed him. "And besides, you don't need anymore beauty sleep. I don't know if I could handle you getting even more handsome," she said with a grin. "You need to get ready. You need to go to the airport," she said excitedly. "And it's nine in the morning."

"I am not getting to the airport insanely early woman. My mother said they won't be landing until after noon. Plus you promised me breakfast.   I require sustenance!"  Zayn knew Kaia was excited for the twins to join them. He had spoken with his mother yesterday. She said the twins were just as excited to see their mother even though it meant auntie Marian stayed behind. Something Ahmir tried to prevent.

Kaia all but growled under her breath. She gave him one of her famous eye rolls. "Fine," she huffed. "And what would my king like for breakfast?"

"Eggs, bacon toast and some coffee please.  I'll get dressed while you cook."  He loved messing with his wife. It was one of his greatest joys in life.

She just shook her head at him.  "You mean you don't want me to serve it to you naked in bed?" She couldn't help but tease him. She was so excited to have her babies in her arms again.

"I think I had my fair share of that this week." He joked. "I need to get dressed unless you don't want me to get our children?"

She all but yanked the covers off of him and took a moment to admire him and all his glory. He always made her mouth water. "You couldn't keep your hands off me." She said with a wink.

"Cook woman and stop staring at my goods. This is a form of sexual harassment." He chuckled.  "I'm starving my love," he winked.

"And you hate every second of it," she smirked and then hurried to the kitchen to make their breakfast.

That woman is going to be the death of me he thought to himself. Fuck I love her too damn much. He didn't want to mention to Kaia that his mother told him Marian declined Ahmir's invitation to come to California. Once they were back in London, he was going to work on Kaia and Marian being friends again.  He quickly dressed in blue jeans and a black T-shirt and then made his way to the kitchen and poured himself a cup a coffee and waited for his breakfast.

Kaia couldn't help but sing as she made their breakfast. She could barely stand still. She turned around to see her husband watching her. She smiled. "What?" She asked.

"Sexy chef. I love watching you cook me food." He smirked.   "Are you ready for the twins?  Did you get your Kleenex ready?"

"Oh stop," she said. "I'm not going to be that emotional," she said and saw him arch an eyebrow at her. "Okay I'm going to be a damn mess."
