Kaia hugged her knees to her chest as she could hear Zayn slamming things around in their room. She couldn't believe what had just happened between them. He had never been physical with her before. She didn't know if it was the alcohol or his mind playing tricks on him. She looked up when she heard the drop of a suitcase.

"I'm leaving the twins here with you for the night," he said. His voice still full of venom and hate. He thought they were finally reaching a point of being together again, but now he could barely stand to look at her. The final reality of what she had done hitting him like a double-decker bus. "I expect you to be gone by the time I come back tomorrow afternoon."

"Where do you want me to go?"

"I honestly don't give a shit," he said. "With you leaving for the States in a few days, I'm sure Liam would let you stay with him." He all but hissed at her.

"That's not fair," she said.

"Neither was you betraying our marriage vows," he said and picked up his suitcase and headed towards the front door. "And don't call me, I'll call you. Maybe."

When the front door slammed shut, Kaia cried even more. She rushed to the window and watched as he sped down the drive. She watched until she could no longer see the tail lights of his car and then paced the house for most of the night.

Zayn drove down the drive. Glancing back in the mirror and he could see Kaia standing by the window. He growled under his breath and made his way to the Savoy. He sat in his car for the longest time and was trying to decide if he should go somewhere else. This was the first place that Kaia had betrayed him with Liam. He jumped when the valet opened his door. Against his better judgment, he got out and made his way to the front desk.

"Ah, Mr. Malik," the front desk agent greeted him. "Would you like your regular room and will Mrs. Malik be joining you?"

"No and no," he said. "Just give me a different room. I'll be in the bar."

"Of course."

Zayn made his way to the bar and found a table in a dark corner. The waitress came and took his order and brought him his drink. He glanced around the room and was glad that there weren't a lot of people there. He slowly sipped his drink and tried to make sense of everything. Kaia had broken his heart. He honestly didn't know what to do.

Perrie needed to get away. Her latest relationship just exploded and their last tour didn't go as well as she wanted and people are talking to her about going solo, leaving the group. Her girls, she could never do that. They were her life and her backbone. She left the studio and decided to go for a walk to clear her head. She walked for what seemed like an hour when she looked up at found herself in front of the Savoy. She decided it was time for a drink. She walked into the bar and ordered a vodka martini.

Zayn looked up from his now empty glass and waved the waitress back over. When he gave her his order, he saw someone familiar sitting at the bar. He told the waitress to get the lady another drink on him.

Perrie thanked the waitress then turned around to find out who had just bought her a drink. "Zayn." She smiled but was shocked to see him in a bar alone.

"Hi Perrie," he said but didn't return her smile. "What are you doing here drinking all alone?" He asked as she approached his table.

"Contemplating my life choices." She joked. "Thanks for the drink."

"Me too," he said and gestured the spot next to him. "Want to sit down?"

"Why not." She said shrugging her shoulders "Let's have a chat."
