Kaia glanced at Marian who merely shrugged her shoulders. She looked back at her sister.  "Katia, come here please," she said.

Katia ran up to Kaia and hugged her tightly. "When I heard you scream out in pain I was so afraid!  I just found you, I don't want to lose you," she said trying not to cry but was finding it difficult.

"You aren't going to lose me," she said hugging her sister back. "I swear it. Too damn stubborn to die," she said and wiped her sister's tears away. "Screaming is just a good way to scare the crap out of your man and make him feel guilty," she said with a laugh. "I promise I'm alright. They just have to replace all the blood I lost." She held up her arm that was hooked up to an IV tube with saline in one tube and a pint of blood. "This was nothing compared to when the twins came, right Marian?"

"That is what I was trying to tell her, but she insists she is never having children after today," she told her then went over and kissed her on the cheek.  "You did scare us though," She added.

"I can't do what you do Kaia," Katia admitted.

"Oh yes you can," Kaia said. "It's in a woman's nature to give birth. No matter how traumatic it is." She looked at Marian. "I didn't mean to scare you and I didn't mean to ruin your reception," she said. "Katia, can you give me Karim, please. I want to hold him."

Katia shook her head at Kaia. She looked over at her nephew and wanted to faint.

"Kaia is right, it is a blessing to become pregnant and have a child" Marian stated rubbing her belly.

"You didn't ruin my reception for me. My husband will see it differently though," she chuckled then went over and picked up little Karim William.  "Hello, my sweet," she said then handed him to Kaia.

Kaia held her son close and smiled when he started to cry. "Are you hungry my precious pyar?" She asked him. She adjusted her gown so she could feed him. She smiled again when he began to suck greedily from her breast. When she looked up she saw her sister watching every move she made. She couldn't tell if she was fascinated or horrified.

"Katia, it's okay," Marian reminded her. "You can get closer. Kaia won't mind.  What does pyar mean? Is that Urdu?"

Kaia nodded.  "It means my love in Urdu," she said with a smile as she looked down at her son.

Katia worried looked at Marian who only shooed her closer to her sister.  "Did it hurt? Wa...was it worth it?" Katia asked.  "He's so tiny, Kaia"

Kaia smiled. "When you look at your child's face, you don't think about the pain that it took to bring them into this world. You don't know unconditional love until you have a child." She said and smoothed back some of Karim's hair. It was very thick and dark. Whereas the twins hair was a mixture of hers and Zayn's but Karim was totally his father's son.

Katia turned to Marian. "Is what Kaia is saying true?"

Marian only smiled over at Kaia and Katia. "Yes, when you hold your son In your arms everything else melts away and he is the only thing that matters.  You can do it Katia, we have faith in you.  What do you say to having Katia burp your son?"

Kaia smiled. "The burp nappies are under the bassinet," she said and pulled Karim away from her breast and held him out to Katia. "Marian can you help her."

"Happy too," she said leading Katia to the rocking chair then retrieved Karim.  She laid him on Katia's chest. "Rub his back gently then switch to small pats. You will feel it when you burps."

"Okay, I don't want to break him," Katia said nervously.

Kaia couldn't wipe the smile off her face. "You won't break him," she said. "Marian, take some pictures please."
