Katia looked at the ginormous pile of clothes that were in the middle of her bed.  Wear something blue Kaia had said.  She had gone home the day before and showered and shaved and slapped every lotion on imaginable.  But she didn't think that she had anything good enough to wear for this 'meeting' with Liam.  Was she making a huge mistake? What if it all blew up in her face and all he still wanted was her sister?

She jumped when she heard the buzzer on the door.  She rushed to answer it and found her sister on the other side.

"You're not ready?" Kaia asked stepping into the flat.  "We have to go."

"I don't know if I can do this Kaia," Katia said.  She looked at her sister who was perfectly dressed in another green wrap dress.  Her pregnant belly making her look even more beautiful.  Her hair done perfectly.  "And what's the point.  He's going to take one look at you and I won't even exist.  Again."

"Stop it," Kaia scolded.  "Why do you have such little confidence and faith in yourself?"

"Because I'm not perfect like you."

Kaia rolled her eyes and headed towards the bedroom and stopped when she saw the giant pile of clothes.  She turned back to look at her sister.  "I am so far from perfect, Kat."

Katia sat down with a humph on her bed.  "You have the perfect family, you're beautiful, you have a career and everyone loves you!"

Kaia shoved the clothes away so she could sit down.  She took a hold of her hand.  "And everyone loves you," she said.  "Kat, my life is not perfect.  We all know that.  Are you scared?"

"Yes," she said.  "I don't know if I can be rejected again."

"He's not going to reject you," she said and stood back up and began to look through the pile of clothes.  She picked up midnight blue off the shoulder dress and handed it to her.  "Put this one, finish your make up and let's go.  He's waiting," she said with a smile.  She pulled Katia to her feet and hugged her.  "And everything is going to work out.  I promise," she said and gave her a small shove towards the bathroom.  She chewed nervously on her lip.  She hoped it would all work out.

Katia got dressed, did her makeup and fixed her hair.  She sighed heavily and looked at herself in the mirror.  "Here goes nothing," she said out loud and went to find her sister who was sitting in the living room flipping through a magazine.  "Do I pass inspection?"

Kaia stood up and smiled wide.  "You look stunning," she said.  "Are you ready?"

Katia shrugged her shoulders.  "I guess."

Kaia grabbed her purse.  "Let's go, he's waiting."

They went to Kaia's car and as they drove away, Kaia glanced in her rearview mirror and saw Marian standing outside of the entrance to the building, watching.  Her eyes pricked with tears and she quickly looked away.  She sped off towards the studio that she knew Liam would be waiting.

The guard waved her through the gate when he saw her and she smiled and pulled into her normal parking spot and shut off the car.  She looked at her sister who looked practically terrified.  She took a hold of her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.  "Have faith, sister," she said.  "Give me a few minutes and I'll come and get you alright?"

Katia merely nodded her head.  "Alright."

Kaia got out of the car and glanced back at her sister once more.  She shook her head as she saw her chewing on her fingernails.  She made her way inside.  Saying hello to a few of the people she knew and made her way to the studio that she knew he would be in.  She slowly opened the door, not bothering to knock.  He was sitting with his back to her at a piano.  His fingers trailing over the keys in a haunting melody.
