Chapter 60

Kaia and Zayn spent the next week with the twins. Doing everything that they wanted to. Amusement parks, shopping, family dinners, just being together. Zayn had never seen Kaia smile more than she did during the time she spent with the twins. Both together and separate. She and Ahmir grew even closer.

After a while, his mum and sister joined them and their family time continued. Kaia and Doniya also spent some time together and Kaia couldn't stop apologizing for shutting her out of her life. Of all of Zayn's sisters, it was Doniya that she felt the closest too. She confessed to her what had happened. She didn't want to keep things from her either.

After their time together, it was time for Kaia to hit the road again for the remainder of the dates in the US. She asked Tricia and Doniya if they would like to go along and they agreed. Kaia was so incredibly happy to have her family with her and her husband by her side. She was even able to coax him on stage once in a while to sing with her, to which the crowds went crazy. They even brought the twins out with them. Destiny ate up every bit of attention and Ahmir reluctantly would wave to the crowds. He was very much like Zayn in that aspect. But he seemed to thrive on the attention and time he got to spend with his momma.

Every night after tucking the twins in, wherever they were, Zayn and Kaia still took the time for each other. Whether it was dinner, or a dip in a pool or a hot shower together. They seemed to be closer than ever.

During the time that the twins were with Marian, Harry could not help this feeling that was coming over him. One of the nights, he almost exploded with word vomit. Marian had just given the twins a bath and Ahmir was patiently waiting for her to return to the bed. It was when he saw Marian with Destiny in her arms he felt his heart melt.

This urge to have a child with Marian was becoming an insatiable need, but he could not say anything to her. She had made it very clear to him that she wasn't ready for another child. She wasn't even sure she could have one.  She loved the twins and for her, that was enough. But it wasn't enough for Harry. 

Destiny was opening up to him and he loved it when she asked for him. He wanted a child so badly. A child with Marian.  He needed advice and wasn't sure who to go for it. Then he got a snap from Gemma. Maybe he could talk to her about it, she knew how to keep a secret. He wondered if he could talk about this whole baby issue with her. Maybe she would have a good idea to get Marian on board.

He texted Marian that he had an appointment and would not make it over until later in the day.

Gemma got a text from Harry asking to meet at her place. There was something he wanted to talk to her about. Her curiosity was peaked and she texted him that she would be home and he could come over whenever.

Harry had several pictures of Marian with the twins and he hoped that they would show his sister that Marian was destined to be an amazing mother. He knocked on the door and waited for his sister to answer.

Gemma opened the door and smiled at her brother. "What's up little brother?" She asked and watched as he walked inside. He looked a little uneasy. Something seemed off. "Want something to drink?"

"I would love something to drink. I need to talk to you about something. I need to tell someone."

 She went to the fridge and grabbed him a beer. "So what do you need to talk about?"

 "Okay, but only if you promise not to think I am crazy or anything," Harry said taking the beer and guzzling it. 

Gemma's eyes widened as she watched him. "I already know you're crazy," she said with a laugh. "Come on, what's going on?" She asked. 

It's now or never Harry. He told himself.   "Well, Zayn asked Marian to watch the twins while he goes to reconcile with Kaia and.." He paused biting his lip.
