Katia knew she needed to talk to Kaia about the wedding and the fact that she was going to ask Marian to be her matron of honor. It was a conversation that she was dreading. She found her sister in the kitchen making tea and staring at one of her journals. It seemed like she or Zayn were never without one. She knew she'd just put the twins and Karim down for a nap and Liam and Zayn were off somewhere doing who knows what.

"Hey, sis," she said. "Can...can I talk to you about something?"

Kaia looked up and smiled. It would be good to take her mind off of the journal in front of her. It was the one that she'd had the night that she couldn't remember. She had opened it and looked inside, and there were three new songs in there that she had written. But she couldn't remember any of the words that she had written and she still didn't know if Liam was lying to her or not. "Of course," she said. "You know you can talk to me about pretty much anything. I've told you I want us to be open with each other."

"Okay," she said. "Let's go out to the pool." She said and quickly turned on her heel and walked out of the kitchen.

Kaia watched her go. What was going on she wondered. She was still trying to figure out if she and Liam had done what she thought had happened. Did he confess to Katia and was she going to tell her she knew? She felt her heart begin to race and she was suddenly very nervous. She picked up her cup of tea and the journal and followed her outside. She sat down on one of the lounge chairs and put on her sunglasses. It was very bright outside. She watched as her sister didn't sit down, but instead paced in front of her.

"What's wrong?" She asked. "You are very on edge. What's going on?" She herself was on edge.

"Kaia, it's about the wedding," she said.

Kaia's eyes widened and she stood up. "You're not canceling it are you?" She asked. "Please don't tell me that. You and Liam belong together!"

Katia shook her head. "No...no...we're still getting married," she said and then looked at her sister. It was now or never. "I've asked Marian to be my matron of honor."

Kaia's eyes widened and she all but took a step backwards.

"I wanted to ask you, but Marian was the first friend I made in England and I've known her longer than you and even though you're my sister....I....." Katia rambled on. "I wanted you to hear it from me and I'm so sorry and I know you probably hate me and you probably aren't too happy with my decision." She rushed to her sister's side and took her hands. "I....I still want you to be my bridesmaid, Kaia," she said. "Please tell me you'll be in the wedding."

Kaia was stunned. She felt like she had been punched in the gut and it hurt. Terribly. She looked down at Katia's hands holding hers and then she looked back up at her. Trying to fight her tears that threatened.

"Kaia, say something. Please."

"You...you did the right thing," she said. "And you're right, you've known Marian longer and she was your first true friend when you got here. You made the right choice," she said and stepped away from her sister. "Marian will make a beautiful matron of honor and she'll help you with anything that you need for the wedding. She's a pro at it." She bent down and picked up her journal.

"Will you still be in the wedding?" Katia asked. "Please, Kaia."

She turned and gave her sister a weak smile. "Sure," she said. "Just tell me what God awful bridesmaid dress to wear and when and where and I'll be there." She tried to walk away but Katia reached out and grabbed her arm.

"Please don't hate me."

"I don't hate you, Katia," she said. "I could never hate you. Did you still want to have the twins in the wedding?"
