Chapter 95

Zayn sat down next to her. "Ahmir's behavior isn't your fault, Marian," he said gently. "I think it's jealousy over his brother, to be honest. You are going to be a fantastic parent," he said putting his arm around her shoulders. "Faith is going to have the best Mummy in the world."

"He just told me he doesn't think anyone loves him. I've ruined him for his parents. He told me you spend all your time and with Destiny and Kaia finally has a child to spoil. He has no one," she said with a sniffle. "I ruined him and I was all he had and now I'm crap," She said feeling defeated. "I told him we would take Destiny for a few days and he got so excited to have his parents attention for once."

Zayn sighed heavily. He hated to admit how much attention Kaia was giving Karim and him to Destiny.  "Stop it," He said to her. "You haven't ruined anything. He has so many people that love him but I hate to see he's probably been getting lost in the weeds a little bit." He looked around the room a bit. "Thank you for your idea," he said. "I think Kaia will be very surprised, to be honest. And know that she doesn't hold any resentment when you take him for sleepovers."

"I just want to be helpful, Zayn. I love Ahmir just like he was my own child and to think I am causing him harm, that kills me." She sighed.  "Harry will love having Destiny over,  hopefully, she can distract him and he will stop stressing himself out." 

"Can I make a suggestion?" Zayn asked. "And you won't get all pissy about it?"

"Now you have me worried, Zayn. I can't control what I get pissy about," she smirked.

"When you have Faith, have a backup plan," he said. "I think it will give your husband some piece of mind."

"Zayn, I love you and all but that being said. I won't have someone taking my child out of my womb. I'm giving birth to her, just like woman have been for thousands of years," she said.  "I won't lose another child, you can be Harry's back up plan. You can't schedule a birth, the baby comes when they are ready." 

Zayn sighed. "Yes, I know women have been doing it for centuries but you can't predict what will happen," he said taking a hold of her hand. "Look what happened with the twins. Kaia wanted to do everything natural but she couldn't." He said.

"Zayn, what do you want me to say here? I can't lose another child."

"And we can't lose you," he told her. "Do you know how scared I was when the twins were born? Losing them or Kaia tore my heart out. And I can't see Harry going through the same thing," he said. "All I ask is that you think about it, okay?"

"I won't deliver Faith via C-section, I don't care if I die giving birth. I won't have both of my children come into the world the same way. Follow the same path. I will give birth to her naturally and she will grow up to be a perfectly healthy and wonderful child," Marian insisted.  "Harry knew the risks he would face if he decided to pursue a relationship with me. There would always be a chance he would lose me," she said crossing her arms

Zayn sighed and then pulled her into his arms. "Okay," He said. "I didn't mean to upset you and I'm sorry," he said and kissed the side of her head. "I love you."

"I know Zayn, I just have to do this my way. I know how worried Harry is but I can't change how I feel. My gut tells me to go with natural childbirth. I need to prove to myself that I can do it," she said into his chest hugging him tightly.

"You are a stubborn woman Marian Styles," he teased. "But we still love you."

"My Harry sense tells me he is freaking out. We better get back out there," she joked.

"I'm surprised he isn't in here yet," he teased. He stood up and helped her up. "Come on mummy."

"I'm just as surprised. Let's go rescue your family from my husband's paranoia." She smirked.
