Maya:

We're back in Canada.

Back home.

"Shawn! No! Please put me down!" I laughed after he threw me over his shoulder and ran around the house, up the stairs to our bedroom.

He threw me down on the bed and his body was hovering over mine. I locked my hands together behind his neck and we just stared into each other's eyes, as he leaned down pressing his lips onto mine.

I felt the butterflies in my tummy going wild. "What?" He asked after I pulled away. "Nothing it's just... its the first time we've actually been together since last month." I said and he broke eye contact with my eyes.

He rolled off from me and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"I'm sorry." He said resting his elbows on his knees. "Hey." I said softly and sat down next to him rubbing his back and resting my chin on his shoulder.

"I'm not complaining. It's just we've both been busy. You with the new album coming out and me with my new studio. We just haven't got the time to be like, in the moment." I said and he looked over at me.

"I know. And I feel so guilty for not being with you more often. It breaks my heart not to be home everyday to tell you goodnight or see you in the morning waking up." He said and I just leaned forward kissing his cheek.

"That's just life Shawn. I sometimes don't even see you in the morning to say hello or pack you lunch. But we love on and get through." I said taking his hand in mine and caressing the too with the pad of my thumb.

"Still..." he said and sighed as he looked away from me. "Shawn. Do you maybe think we did this to early?" I asked hesitantly playing with my ring on my finger.

He took my hand in his and moved my head with his index finger so I was looking him directly in the eyes.

"Maya please. Giving you that ring and asking you to be my wife was the best decision I have ever made in my life. I'm so happy with you and I don't want to lose you." He said and leaned in kissing me.

"You're not going to lose me Shawn. I only want to be with you. You and only you. Nobody else. I just think that maybe we should extend this for like a year, just to get all our things in order before we get settled down." I said and saw the sadness in his eyes.

He doesn't take this well. I don't mean any harm to our relationship, I just want things to settle down a bit for both of us.

Both of us are extremely busy, how on earth will we get time to plan a wedding to and go on a hineymoon if we don't even yet have time for each other.

I don't want to even know what's going on in his mind right about now.
