Maya:

I have a secret.

One I haven't told Shawn yet.

And I really need to tell him that.

We were on our way to the hospital and once we got there he carried me in to the testing room. "So Maya Mendes? Is that right?" The doctor asked and I nodded weakly.

"Maya, may I ask you when you had your last period?" She asked, whilst taking a blood test. "I ended few days ago. But I can't get pregnant." I stated to her. She knows about my tests that I took because she pulled my file from the computer. But rather than having a sympathetic speech like all the other, she on the other hand, she smiled.

"Doctors are also just human Maya. They make mistakes." She said and I nodded, rolling ym eyes.

I now strongly believe that I can't get pregnant so for her to tell me that I am will be unbelievable. Not that I believe it.

"Okay I'll be right back. Just taking this for a test." She said wiggling the blood samples sha had and I rested my head on Shawn's shoulder. "Shawn we need to talk." I said and he took my hand in his.

"I know Maya. I red your diary and I'm sorry for invading your privacy like that but I red it that time you were so sad. Why didn't you tell me?" He asked, but he doesn't sound mad. "Because I really didn't know how to." I mumbled.

I was pregnant a year back, but I lost the baby. I found that out when I did a test and it said it was positive but when I went to the doctors they told me I lost it.

I never told Shawn that I was pregnant, and when I did the test to see if I ever can get a baby, and it came out negative, I was certain of it that, that was the reason why I also lost the baby.

"I'm sorry." I whispered to him but he just shook his head a smile appeared on his face. "It's okay darling." He said, kissing my cheek.

Just then the doctor came back into the room. Closing the door behind her and both Shawn and I let out a deep breath. One we didn't knew we were holding.

🌸Shawn:

I knew about Maya being pregnant, but that was only because I red her diary entry. I never told anyone as well. And she did the same. Nobody knows that except for us.

"Well we did some tests with the blood samples we had and..." the doctor paused as she opened the file. My heart is pounding in my chest.

Can this be it?

"Well Maya you have a serious flu." She said and my heart dropped. I know I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

"But you're pregnant. The test say you're pregnant." She added and both our heads shot up to look at her. "Are you serious?" I asked and she handed me the file. "They must have made a mistake on the test Maya, because your blood test and fever shows signs of pregnancy." She smiled and I looked over to Maya.

She had no emotion on her face.

"Just excuse me for a second." She whispered, getting up and walking out to the balcony of the room we were in. "Just a second." I said to the doctor and walked out to Maya.

"Darling?" I questioned, wrapping my arms around her waist. I felt her starting to shake and I looked at her to see tears rolling down her face. "Hey! No, why are you crying? This is a moment of you." I asked, wiping away her tears and she smiled up at me.

"I'm pregnant. Shawn I'm pregnant." She laughed, letting more tears roll down her cheeks. "I never thought I could give you a family. And now, look where we are." She shrugged, placing her hand down on her stomach.

"Well bless the hotel room in Madrid." I laughed and crashed my lips to hers.

I felt her smiling into the kiss, only making me smile and my cheeks burn ever more. "I love you Shawn. Thanks for not guving up." She mumbled into my neck afer I pulled her into a hug. "Never." I said, leaving some kisses in her neck before taking her hand in mine and we walked back into the room.

"Did it sink in?" The doctor asked and we both nodded. Suddenly she pulled Maya into a hug and laughed with her.

This is so amazingly good.

We'll finally have a family.

My happiness can't be described right now.
