Shawn:

I'm a bit worried for the game today to be comple honest. The nerves are brewing in my tummy and my hands are slightly shaking.

Maya told me why she stopped playing soccer when she was still in high school. She broke her knee and couldn't continue on for the rest of the season.

After that she was to afraid to go back. And I'm afraid that she might hurt herself again.

"Maya are you really sure about this?" I asked as she came downstairs with her soccer clothes on.

"I think. I mean I'm scared but if I don't do this then I won't ever get that closure you know? I was afraid to go back on the firld, but I need to do this." She said and I nodded pecking her cheek.

"I'll be in the crowd! Like you are for me." I said and she blushed taking my hand in hers and we walked outside to the car parked up in the driveway.

"Why are the state championships being held in Canada?" I asked on our way to the school. "I have no idea. It's the oddest place to be held." Maya said chuckling and I turned the radio up just to hear my new song being played.

"Aah that's embarrassing." I said and wanted to change the service but Maya slapped my hand out of the way. "Hey!" I said and she looked at me surprised.

"Uhm... don't you ever dare change the service when my husbands song is playing!" She said and glared at me.

I couldn't help but blush when she said that.

"Maya stop it." I said softly and looked at the road. "Aww are you blushing?" She teased and I felt the heat rising more and more to my cheeks. "Okay I'll leave you alone." She said and I took her hand in mine, intertwining our fingers and resting it in my lap.

When we arrived at the school we walked to the pavilion. On the way there were a few people wanting to take a few pictures.

So we took them and went back to the pavilion. "Goodluck." I said and kissed her before she walked to the gym room.

After about 10 minutes the team came running out on the field. "That's my girl!" I yelled standing up once I saw Maya on the field. She turned around and smiled at me, shaking her head.

"Woah! Go Maya!" I yelled and then the game started. I was on the edge of my seat about the game but Maya played so good.

I think she found the closure and reassurance she wanted.

After the game I walked down to the field to congratulate Maya on her good game. She really did a good job.

I saw her walking through the crowd after saying goodbye to her teammates. When she saw me as she walked off the flied she ran up to me, jumping up in my arms and wrapping her legs around my torso.

"You were amazing baby." I said and smiled at her and her fingers started brushing through the hair at the back of my neck.

"Thanks." She said and smashed her lips to mine in less than a second. "I heard you screaming. Is your voice oaky? I mean I don't want to be the end of your career." She chuckled, but I just oecked her lips again before letting her down so she stood in front of me.

"A little sore, but only because of my sickness a while back. But I'm okay. It's good." I said, picking up her back and putting it over my shoulder.

"Let's go home." I said taking her hand in mine and she intertwined our fingers as we walked back to the car.

We got in the car and started driving home. "Got the closure you wanted?" I asked resting our hands in my lap as I caressed the too of her hand with my thumb.

She was looking out the window but smiled over to me. "Very much." She said pecking my cheek and I chuckled, pulling up in the driveway.

When we walked into the house, Benito ran up to us like a crazy thing. Happy that we're home. Jumping up on us and the couches. Just being adorable.

Sometimes I compare Benito with Maya because she goes crazy like that to when I get home from tour.

Aah, she's just the best. And I love her so much.
