Part 80

Maya:

Shawn left for tour again, 2 months back.

I'm on my way to my studio to sign last contracts for new equipment and to get all my interior design stuff ready.

"Thank you guys so much. This is going to be amazing." I said greeting my team as they left the studio.

I took one last look over my future workspace and walked out, locking the door behind me. "Hey sissie." I said through the phone after I called Aaliyah and she picked up.

"Hey. Are you on your way over?" She asked. "Yeah. But I'm gonna pick up some food at the store. Need anything else?" I asked and she just replied with a simple no.

"Okay. See you in a bit." I said and smiled. "Okay, drive save. Please." She said hanging up.

I got to the store and just bought bags of chips, drinks, and sweets for me and Aaliyah's all girls night. Karen and Manny are away on some business trip so I've been staying with Aaliyah till they get back.

"I'm home!" I yelled, walking through the door. "And you bought chips!" She yelled come running down the stairs.

"Uhh, yeah! What's a movie night without some of the best snacks?" I said and she smirked at me, grabbing the bag and immediately running to the living room.

I walked upstairs to put on some comfy clothes. I'm staying in the spare room. I saw Shawn's room door and smiled opening up and stealing on of his hoodies.

"That's Shawn's." Aaliyah chuckles as I nodded looking down at the floor as I'm blushing. "I miss him." I shrugged and plonked down next to her on the couch.

We watched like 7 movies and it was already 11:30 pm. "Hey. Wanna go to bed?" I asked Aaliyah who was sleeping on my lap.

She nodded standing up and I turned the TV off and walked with her upstairs. "Goodnight sweetie." I said kissing her forehead and tucking her in.

"Night Maya." She whispered and I closed her door. I was sitting on my bed and pulled out my phone.

'Hey baby. I miss you so much and I hope you're enjoying tour so far. Love you xx'

I texted Shawn and immediately after I got a reply.

'Miss you so much. And it's okay, would be better with you but can't wait to see you again. Love you more x'

I smiled reading it and switched my phone of.

During the night I was only tossing and turning in the spare bedroom bed. Nothing felt right. I just couldn't fall asleep at all.

I stood uo from out of the bed and walked over to the bathroom. I've been crying over Shawn. I know that sounds pathetic of me but he's not just any boy. I'm not just crying over a boy.

He's my fiancé, the love of my life, my soon to be husband, and he's currently across the world from me.

I walked out of the bathroom and into the  hallway, sneaking up to his room. I opened the door and walked over to his bed.

I layed down and could only smell his cologne. God I miss him so much.

"I miss you." I said to myself as I ran my hand over his pillow. Already feeling the tears at the back of my eyes again.

"Just a couple more months." I reassured myself and hugged his pillow.

But before I could get uo and go back to my own bed, I fell asleep, cuddled up to his pillow.
