Maya:

2 weeks later: wedding day

I woke up alone.

The bed was cold on the side where Shawn needs to be. But he isn't there. Well, not today.

Today is our wedding day and I'm so excited.

I feel like jumping on the bed and blasting music throughout the house just to get my mood even more hyped up.

Shawn stayed over at Ian's last nighg to get ready for the wedding, while I'm home and sitting in the couch in my onesie waiting for Aaliyah and Lauren to arrive.

Minutes later I heard the doorbell going off and I jumped up, running to the door and swinging it open to find them at the door.

"Maya!" They yelled as I let them in and overwhelmed me with hugs.

It's good to know I have people like them in my life, because this wedding would be no fun if I didn't have a friend and sister to help me out.

I would've probably walked downstairs the isle, looking like a tramp.

"Are you ready for this?" Aaliyah asked and I nodded of excitement, takingher hands in mine as we jumped around, squealing like little girls.

We went back upstairs and our makeup and hair artist is already here. She first started on Lauren and Aaliyah and while they were getting dressed she started on me.

"You're the most beautiful bride that I ever got." She said examining my face. I stated blushing and thanked her.

After a while of her being busy with my makeup and hair Lauren and Aaliyah came out. Of the bathroom with their bridesmaids dresses on.

It was perfect!

"Oh my gosh! You guys look absolutely beautiful!" I said seeing them in their navy blue dresses. "We feel absolutely beautiful." Lauren joked and twirled around.

I squealed out of excitement and after Marcia, the makeup and hair artist, was done I walked into the spare room to get dressed in my wedding dress.

I'm still so amazed to say that.

That I'm getting married to the most wonderful man on this planet. One that loves me for me and who is always there for me.

I struggled tying the not so I went out to get help, and everyone gasped. Making me smile.

"Can you help me please." I asked and Aaliyah stood up tying the knot behind my back. "You look stunning Maya. Shawn's jaws gonna drop to the floor!" Aaliyah said and I just bursted out with laughter.

"I'm getting nervous." I said and started playing with the ring on my finger. I don't know why but all these thoughts went through my head and voices kept on telling me that I can't do this.

I tried pushing them aside as we got in the car and drove to the church.

When we arrived I saw Ian's car was already here. We got out and walked to a back room where we needed to wait till the time is right.

I was pacing back and forth in the room and my tummy started hurting from the nerves. And my palms were sweating. I felt liek I was on the verge of bursting into tears.

This is making me shake. The nerves and anxiety.

"Maya chill." Aaliyah said and I looked over at her. I was so on edge and when I made eye contact with her, her eyes grew bug and she called her mom over.

"Maya honey what's wrong? Why are you so on edge?" She aksed pulling me aside. "I-I don't know. I'm super nervous and I don't think I can do this." I said and she started talking about how we all get nervous before a wedding an all that.

But this is different.

"I need to see Shawn." I said, knowing he's the only one that can calm me down and the only one I want to talk to.

I walked past Karen, rushing to the door to get to him but Aaliyah stopped me, pushing me back into the room and closing the door behind her.

"You can't do that Maya. The groom my not see the bride before the wedding." One lady from the planning and organizing team said and I looked around the room at all the people.

I felt like crying right now.

I ran to the bathroom and locked the door behind me. Breathing heavily as my heart pounded in my chest.

"Maya. Maya open up the door." Everyone said, trying to get me out and knocking on the door.

But I just couldn't.

I need Shawn.
