Shawn:

Tour was always hard to do, the long distance and being away from Maya and my family.

But ever since me and Maya got engaged it just feels harder, the time apart.

I miss her so much.

And Aaliyah to.

My mom and dad.

Everyone.

Because of our time differences Maya sleeps when I'm awake and for that we don't really talk much. But I stay awake an extra hour longer just so I can FaceTime her.

Ping. Ping.

My phone went off and I saw a message from Aaliyah. 'Your FaceTime might be delayed a bit.' She said and I saw a image attached to the text.

It was Maya sleeing on my bed, cuddled up to my pillow.

"Awww." I said and saw Geoff laughing at me from the other side of the bus. Immediately after that I got a FaceTime request from Maya.

"Hey." I said when I saw her face lit up my screen. A big smile on my face.

She looked like she just woke up, but then again, Aaliyah probably shook her awake. "Hey. I miss you so much." She said and I blushed.

"I miss you to hun. Did you fall asleep in my bed?" I asked chuckling and I saw her cheeks burning red as she looked down. "Sorry. I couldn't sleep." She said and I took a closer look at her.

"Maya darling." I said concerned and she looke dup, a faint smile on her lips. "Why've you been crying? Have you been crying?" I asked, feeling my heart becoming heavy.

I could see her eyes were puffy. And when my girl's crying when I'm so far away from her breaks my heart.

"A little." She said softly, almost a whisper. My heart aching as she looked sad. "What's the matter baby?" I asked and she wiped her eyes.

"Just... I don't know it's just that this tour feels different. I missed you all the other tours but this one just... I miss you even more." She said and wiped her nose.

"I know." I said running my hand through my hair. "But I don't wanna ruin your tour Shawn. You should enjoy it. Just know I'm so head over heals inlove with you." She said and smiled at me.

I felt the heat rising up to my cheeks as I looked back at her and smiled. "I love you to Maya. How's Aaliyah? She's not giving you grey hairs already right?" I chuckled and she laughed.

"No. She's the best." She said and I nodded, smiling, and knowing their having a good time.
We talked on for another 30 minutes and I grew more tired.

"You should probably get some rest baby." She said softly and I smiled. I know I need to sleep but I don't want to say goodbye to her.

"Yes, probably. But how will I sleep without you next to me?" I questioned and she started laughing. "Shawn you slept all the other nights on tour. Tonight won't be any different." She said and I glared at her, playfully.

"Why do you always have to put me down when I'm trying to be cute?" I asked in a sassy tone and she smiled, blowing a kiss. "Because I want you to sleep. Please." She said and I kissed the camera.

"And your reaction after I put you down is so much cuter." She chuckled and I blushed looking away.

"Goodnight my love. I miss you so much and I love you. Sleep well." She said as I crawled in under my covers. "Thanks darling. Enjoy your day, and know I love and miss you so much." And she smiled before the screen went black.

"My girl." I said to myself and put my phone on charge before falling asleep.
