Maya:

I don't know what's up with Shawn but he's acting all jumpy and like he's hiding something.

When we came through the door he was feeling around his pockets and I could hear his heart pounding from where he stood.

I was just laying on the bed and I thought he was gonna take a nap with me, guess not. Because he jumped up and ran downstairs.

I took a nap and woke up by the feeling of a hand tickling my back. I love it when someone does that. Especially Shawn because he knows all the right places.

"Hey." I said softly, still half asleep, seeing Shawn next to me. He pulled me into a hug and onto his lap. I was still sleepy so I buried my face in the crook of his neck leaving small kisses on it.

"Maya." He said softly and I hummed in response. "Let's go on a date tonight." He said and I nodded in agreement. We haven't been on one since like 2 months before he left for tour.

That's a long time ago!

✨Shawn:

"Sir. Since you are like Maya's father I would love to ask you something that concerns of both her and my future." I said, my hands shaking as I speak.

"Yes. You have my blessing." He said and I was shocked. My head shot up and I looked at him. "How did you know I was going to ask you that?" I said surprised and he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Because when you walked into that door this afternoon, Isaw the love you have for Maya. You're a good boy Shawn. I wouldn't want her to marry anyone else." He said and I blushed. "And I saw the box in your pocket." He said and handed me my jacket.

"Oh... thank you sir. Thank you so much. I promise I'll take good care of her." I said and he nodded. "You already do." He said and I shook his hand and walked to Maya sleeping on the bed.

I asked her to go on a date tonight.

Maybe then I can ask her to marry me.
