Shawn:

I lied.

I just wanted to spend time with her. Aaliyah is asleep, yes, but she also told me that I should go and talk with Maya.

"Sometimes I'm still so amazed about what my life has become. I have never in my wildest dreams though that I would one day be a singer and play at MSG. It's crazy." I said in amazement as me and Maya talked.

She however just smiled at me.

"What?" I asked laughing. She shook her head still smiling. "I just love it how you talk about your career. You are really talented Shawn, you deserve this. And I love how true you are, and the way your eyes and face lights up when you're talking about singing. It's amazing. You're amazing." She said and I blushed.

I never thought she pays that much attention, yet she does. She's amazing.

"Thank you." I said and she laughed. "I actually don't like swings." She said and I laughed. "Why not?" I asked and she stood up from her swing. "When I was younger my brother threw me over his shoulder in the park and twirled around and then..." she said and paused of laughter.

"Then he hit my head against the pole." She laughed making me laugh. I almost fell off my swing. "It's not that funny. It hurt really bad." She said and I laughed again.

"Well I accidentally farted onstage once so,
i think I'm one up on you." I said and she fell to the ground of laughter.

"It was an accident!" I said laughing. "Maya you're crying." I said and she stood up wiping her tears away. "Aaah that was the best story I ever heard." She said and held her hand out for me to help her up from her seated position on the floor infront of me.

I took her hand in mine and pulled both her and myself up. Our faces inches away from each other's.

Wow, how can someone be so beautiful. "This was fun." She said, "Yes. It was indeed." I said and looked directly into her eyes.

We walked back to the restaurant since it was time for food and we walked in.

Aaliyah smirked at me and then I realized I was still holding onto Maya's hand.
