10. Meeting Him (A.M, S.M & K.M)

"I can't believe that your brother is back at home from tour!" You say excitedly.

"I can't believe it either. Do you want to come over to my house and then you can meet him?" Aaliyah asks you.

You nod your head eagerly. You don't want to admit it to her but you have a huge crush on Shawn. You believe that he is the most perfect person ever.

"Alright, well, let's just get through the school day. Meet me at my locker after school," she tells you.

You nod your head and you head off to your classes. You can't wait until the school day is over.

*After School and Getting Home*

You both walk to Aaliyah's house and Aaliyah knocks on the door. The door opens up a moment later and Mrs. Mendes greets you with a smile.

"Nice to see you, Y/N," she tells you.

"Likewise," you say.

You both walk inside and Aaliyah starts fidgeting with her hands.

"Where's Shawn?" She asks, her voice is notably full of worry.

You look down, upset to see that Shawn isn't here. Aaliyah then shrieks and you look up. Shawn is holding her into a hug and she's squirming. She gets out of his hold and she glares at him.

"You scared me!" She scolds him.

He grins and says, "Oops."

She rolls her eyes but laughs. They hug again and after a moment, he notices you. You feel yourself blush and the butterflies in your stomach are more obvious when you make eye contact with his beautiful brown eyes.

He's wearing a blue t-shirt which you admire his abs from and black skinny jeans. His brown is hair is disheveled on his head but a huge broad smile is on his face.

"Nice to meet you. You're one of Aaliyah's friends right? What's your name?" He asks you.

"Yes, I'm Y/N."

"Oh, Aaliyah always talks about you. You're a great friend," he says.

You feel your cheeks redden even more and you're joyful that Aaliyah talks about you with Shawn.

"Would you like to stay for dinner?" Mrs. Mendes asks you.

You think about it, not being able to decide.

"Stay for dinner, Y/N. I'd like to get to know you more," Shawn says.

Dirty thoughts spread through your mind which you try to ignore. You make up your mind quickly and you smile.

"I'll stay," you decide.

"That's great," Mrs. Mendes comments and she heads into the kitchen.

Aaliyah heads into the kitchen, probably to help Mrs. Mendes to prepare the dinner table and leaves you both alone. Shawn starts getting closer to you and stand, unable to move or speak at all.

He twirls some of your hair with his finger and he places a gentle kiss on your lips. The kiss leaves you breathless, makes your knees wobble, and makes your cheeks redden even more all in one kiss.

"I've been wanting to do that since I saw you," he comments.

You smile and he grins.

"Would you like to go out on a date with me?" He asks you.

"Yes," you eagerly respond.

You know then that a beautiful relationship will begin.
