"Shawn, have I ever told you how much I love you?"

"Yes," he says, ignoring your intentions to be romantic, "you literally say it everyday."

  "And I'll continue saying it!"

"Yeah, ok babe," he tells you and he continues to watch the hockey game on tv.

"Shawn, listen to me," you say, trying to get his attention.

  "Yes!"

"Wait, really?" You ask as you didn't think that he would give in so quickly.

"No! I'm talking about the hockey game! They just scored a goal!"

"Since when did you stop caring and listening to me? I swear... right after we said our vows at the wedding, it was like you started tuning me out!"

He pauses his game and says, "I'm sorry."

"You're only saying that because I basically forced you to."

He's about to say something but you rush up the stairs to the bedroom where you don't have to see his irritating face. You hear the melody of a song playing downstairs and it gets louder every second.

'Falling All In You,' I recognize that tune. Of course he uses the song of our first dance to try to fix things.

The song gets louder and fills the entire house with the romantic lyrics.

He knows me too well.

You walk downstairs and go into the kitchen which seems to be the source of the music. Shawn has a bouquet of roses in his hands and a charming smile on his face.

"How did you get that bouquet so quickly?"

"Don't focus on that, babe. Focus on this."

He takes my hand and starts leading you into the routine of your first dance which brings up old memories.

"You truly know how to take my breath away."

"I'm sorry that I haven't been communicating with you lately. I've been neglecting you and that isn't right. Hockey does not take priority over my wife!"

"It sure doesn't," you agree.

"And I am sorry, I'm not just saying that because you 'forced me to.'"

"I believe you," you say, laughing at the words you used.

"I love you."

"I love you too and I always will."

You slow dance to the tune of the song with him and he twirls you around as he did in your first dance. When the song ends, you both slowly part and take smalls breaths as your energy is taken away.

"Let's always slow dance to that song," he says.

You nod in agreement and he smiles, placing his hand under your chin to gently align your face to his. He takes your lips and lays a sweet kiss on them, igniting a passionate kiss from you.

  I will always love him.
