Pretend that a guy and a girl can be assigned roommates for college.

When you walk into your dorm, you're surprised to see furniture already moved in on the oposite side of your room.

"My roommate already moved in?" You ask yourself.

"Nice to meet you," a male voice says from behind you.

You quickly turn around and look at the guy in front of you. Hazel eyes, a head full of brown curls, and a muscular figure. You can't help but bite your lip a little since you admit to yourself that he's really good looking.

"Hello?" He prompts, and he uses his hand to lightly tilt your chin up, so that you're looking up at him.

  "Sorry," you quickly tell him.

"Yeah, yeah. So, now that the whole 'greeting' thing is over with, I need to tell you my rules."

  "Rules?"

"Yes," he says, rolling his eyes as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. "I'll be using tape to mark which side of the room is mine and which is yours."

Instantly, you shake your head and feel a little betrayed since he may be good looking on the outside but he clearly isn't in the inside.

"The bathroom is on your side though," you comment.

"Looks like it. Guess you'll have to find another bathroom somewhere else."

"What?"

"You heard me," he states annoyedly.

"I refuse to live under these terms!"

He rolls his eyes and says, "listen, Princess. Frankly, I don't care what you think. Go away for all I care."

"I am using that bathroom!" You yell and you cross the line of tape that is supposed to mark the boundaries of the room.

All you hear is his groan as you slam the bathroom door shut. You stand against the door and stand there, huffing at the thought that this guy thinks he can make these ridiculous rules.

You hear him knock on the door and say, "get out of the bathroom and we can work this out."

Since he had been acting like a child, you decide to act like one too and you yell, "never!"

"Fine! Have it your way," he says and you hear him stomp away from the door.

You sigh and smile to yourself, accepting that you must have won this game.

Except everything changes in one moment.

You shudder as you see a large spider crawling towards you. A huge, hairy, and horrifying monster that's making its way toward you.

"Help!" You yell but alas, no response.

As the monster inches toward you, you decide that you can't take much more fear and you open the door, immediately running out.

"What?" Your roommate asks you annoyedly as he sees your scared face.

"Kill it!" You scream at him as you point to the monster.

He looks at the spider, laughs, and says, "it's just a spider."

  "Kill it," you repeat.

He stands up calmly and grabs the large spider, he walks over to the window and opens it, then letting the spider out.

Your mouth hangs wide open as you ask, "how did you do that?"

"It's not really a big deal," he tells you.

"You're basically my hero!" You exclaim.

"Calm down. Have you learned your lesson about going into my side of the room?"

You shake your head and tell him, "Nope. We still can't have those kinds of rules. You can't decide everything that happens here."

He sighs and asks, "fine. Do you want to make some rules together?"

"That sounds fantastic," you say, smiling as you walk toward him.

"I won't be too fair though," he comments.

  "I'm ready for anything."

  "You seem confident."

"That's because I am," you tell him.

He smirks and says, "I didn't like you at the beginning but I sorta like you now."

  "Is that so?"

He slowly nods his head and leans in as if he were to kiss you. You eagerly prepare yourself but before your lips can even meet, he laughs and pulls away.

"Now now, you won't get a kiss out of me that quickly," he teases.

"Whatever, like you mentioned before, I'm confident and I'm determined."

Nothing can get in the way of your determination. Whether it's to make new rules with your college roommate or to kiss him.
