9. Spin the Bottle (S.M)

You sneak a peek over at Shawn and you gaze into his brown eyes. You snap around when he turns your way, hoping that he didn't catch you staring. You have had a crush on your best friend, Shawn for over a year.

You know that he doesn't like you back though and that just upsets you. You turn over to your friend Lauren, who gives you a comforting smile. Lauren is the only one that knows about your feelings.

"Hey," Lauren says and everyone turns to her, "let's play spin the bottle."

"Hell yes!" Brian yells out.

I turn to Brian with raised eyebrows and his cheeks turn bright red.

"But there's 3 guys and only 2 girls, it's uneven," Shawn says.

"That won't matter," Lauren comments.

I turn to Lauren and she winks at me. Right then, I know what she's doing. She wants the bottle to land on me and Shawn. I start to object but she quickly runs away to grab a bottle.

"Everyone sit in a circle," she orders us.

We all comply, and she eagerly places the bottle in the middle.

"Who's going first?" Matt asks.

I stay silent, and Lauren rolls her eyes at me. She's focused on helping my love life.

"Fine, I'll go," she says.

She spins the bottle and it lands on Brian. She groans, but Brian shows obvious signs of joy. He clearly doesn't seem miserable to be in this situation.

Does Brian like her?

Lauren goes over to him, and plants a light kiss on his lips. His cheeks turn bright red, and Lauren wisely rolls her eyes while she goes back to sit down.

"Who's next?" Matt asks.

"Let's vote," Lauren suggests, "I vote Y/N."

"I also vote for her," Matt says.

"Same for me," Brian adds.

Shawn stays silent and Lauren shrugs, "That's the majority vote. Go, Y/N."

I wonder what's happening in Shawn's mind, it's impossible for tell. His brown eyes don't give a single sign of significant emotion.

You groan, but you hesitantly grab the bottle and you spin it. Your heart skips a few beats when you realize that it's landed on Shawn.

You glance at Lauren who's smiling, satisfied that her plans have worked. You on the other hand, are going through the rollercoaster of emotions.

"Uh, well, I guess we have to kiss now, Shawn," you say awkwardly.

He nods his head slowly, and continues with his show of no emotions. You stand up and you walk over to him. You rise on your tip toes to reach him, marveling at the height difference that you've always found was adorable. You initiate the kiss, giving him a small kiss. He reciprocates it.

It somehow turns into a passionate kiss. You're unable to explain the shakiness in your hands, and the fast paced beating of your heart. You can feel yourself smiling into the kiss, not able to help what's happening.

Right in front of everyone.

"What was that?" You ask him.

"I have feelings for you," he simply responds.

It's all you've ever wanted to hear.

You feel yourself blush and you say, "I have feelings for you too."

He takes your hand, and he boldly leads you into the small closet in Lauren's room. It seems like Lauren's plan has worked, and you'll be sure to thank her later. Right now though, you're focused on Shawn.

"Hey, this isn't 7 minutes in heaven!" Brian scolds us.

You both ignore him and he closes the door behind you. You feel both excited and nervous at what is about to happen.
