40. Let's Livestream (S.M)

"How should we make the baby announcement to the fans?"

"No idea," your husband responds.

You put your mind to thinking about possible ways and come up with a great idea.

"Let's livestream."

"Right now?" Shawn asks and you nod your head eagerly.

"If we give a set date and time for when to livestream then we'll just stress ourselves out," you tell him. "Stress isn't good for the baby."

"True. Ok, let's do it."

"What should we say?"

"I have a plan. Go set on the other side and don't come over here until I tell you," he says, waving you off with your worry.

Shawn grabs his phone, setting it up on the phone against a book on the coffee table as you move to the sofa across his. He begins it and waves to his phone.

"Hey everyone! I know don't livestream often and when I do, I'm just playing the guitar and singing. For this livestream, I'll be doing that but for a very special announcement. I have a small little tune prepared that I want to sing. Give me a minute."

He stands up and goes to the corner of the living room where his guitar stand is and picks up his guitar, walking back to the couch and sitting down. He begins playing and you
instantly recognize the intro of "Treat You Better."

"Why are you playing that?" You mouth to Shawn when he catches your eye.

He smirks and begins singing instead of answering you, "I won't lie to you.... baby Mendes is coming soon...!!!"

He motions quickly to you and sit next to him, showing off your growing baby bump.

"That's right! My wife is pregnant and a new Mendes will be coming soon!!!"

You smile at Shawn but look over at his phone, laughing at the new comments.

"I was supposed to have baby Mendes!"

"Shawn, ditch her and I'll get you your baby Mendes!"

"I already know baby Mendes will be adorable because Shawn and Y/N are going to be the parents *swoon*"

"That last comment is right," you tell Shawn.

He nods his head, laughing and gives you a hug which somehow turns into making out.

After who knows long, you realize, "you're still live-streaming!"

Shawn quickly shifts from his position and shuts his phone off but not before you catch two comments that say, "wooh! Get it Shawn!" and "man, if only it could be me who's under Shawn instead!"

You laugh and Shawn blushes as he sits back.

"I love my fans but sometimes... they're something else," he tells you.

"Do you want me to your mind off of them?" You ask him innocently.

"Yes," he says and with that, you both continue making out.
