The streets suddenly filled with screams and yells calling for people to run. I was just in my house playing and watching YouTube, that's all. I looked out the window to see hordes of people cramming the streets.

"What the hell?" I whispered.

I tried looking downstairs to see my parents had already left me behind. They had locked the door to my room, and I couldn't get out.

All I could simply do was watch behind the window as people ran through the streets like maniacs. Cars couldn't move through the crowd, so it seemed as everyone ran on foot. But where did they run to? It looked as if they just ran the first direction they faced off to.

Once the street had finally cleared from everyone, it looked as if an entire apocalypse had passed by my town. The sun was then covered by a dark shadowy figure I couldn't see. I pulled up my window and walked on the roof to get a glimpse of what it was.

"Damn! The graphics of this game are phenomenal! Those AI's were so realistic. I wonder if I could pick one of em' little dudes up!"

My eyes shot open in pure shock. I froze still. It was a giant. Green hair glimmered in the sun. The giant wore a red hoodie and jeans. Nono... this was no ordinary giant.

"J-J... Jack...?" I stuttered.

He wasn't facing me, but when I spoke his head whipped in my direction. That's when our eyes met.

"There's one!" Jack shouted.

I literally hopped off the roof of the house landing on the neighbor's driveway. Jack started walking towards me. I ignored the pain in my legs and ran to the backyard just in time before he smashed my house. The driveway was now blocked off with rubble.

"Look at this lil' guy go!"

I'm a f e m a l e Jack.

The first idea I had was to hide in the garage, but that plan died when Jack smashed the garage itself into a mountain of debris.

Jack would never do this! He's too kind of a person! Unless he wasn't aware of what he was doing... did he think this was all a game? That could explain how the FUCK he's so huge! He's gotta be around seventy-eighty god damn feet tall!

Jack was just now stepping into the yard I was in. The only other place I could run to was jumping over the fence, and into the next backyard. So that's what I did.

"Yer lucky I'm goin' easy on ya. This is so much fookin' fun!" Jack to me at least teased.

"Stop, please!" I tried to yell out, but he couldn't hear me.

I then ran through the clear driveway in THAT backyard to be stopped by a car.

I may be young, but hell do I know how to drive a car.

I busted the window open and pulled the door open. I used a pin to jam the key unlocker and the engine roared beneath me. I stepped on the pedal and the car went zooming out of the driveway before Jack could grab it.

"Holy shiet this kid is smart! Get back here!" He chuckled.

I was racing around a hundred miles an hour down the road looking for the nearest possible highway I could turn to.

Then I saw a curb, that's where I turned.

"Ya wanna play cat n' mouse ey? We'll play cat n' mouse!" I heard Jack shout from behind me as his rumbling footsteps crashed into the ground when he chased me down into the highway.
