. . .

Welp- long story short, you passed out.

Oh come on. If you would have been surrounded by not one, not two, but THREE Predators at once as a Borrower, you would have collapsed the moment the thought even would have appeared into your vision. I'll admit to it, I probably would have too.

And I'd rather never wake up again after that experience, unlike you.

Sitting up with an aching back, your mind instantly tortured you as it recollected everything that had occurred to you before you'd gone unconscious. Shooting upwards, you looked around to where you were, only to find yourself in the center of a metal barred cage. You were in the center of two other cages on each side of yours, which  held your classmate to your right, and Dally to your left.

You ran up to the right by your classmate first, and banged at your cage, yelling for them to wake up. Both were unconscious, just like you were, likely just as traumatized. You thought they were dead the moment they'd been snatched away in the grass. Why hadn't the Predators killed any of you yet? What happened to all of the kids which ran outside before you three had?

Luckily in a short period of time, your classmate shot up from their limp position on their cold cage floor, and ran over to you. The cages were smushed next to each other as much as they could, so you and your classmate were very close to each other, but the bars were too wide for your hands to reach through.

You and your classmate were both hyperventilating in union, struggling to take in was happening. They looked at you in the eyes, and pointed over to the Craeson's cage.

"Is... is Dally up...?" They breathed.

You snapped your head over to the left where his cage was set.

"No, I don't think so. Wait here. I'll get him up, okay?" You tried to calm them down.

They nodded with a deep breath, and you ran over to Dally. You saw his wings were shielded around his entire body like a blanket, just like a real bat if they were asleep, making him look like a little grey fuzzball. You banged on the cage bars again, yelling for Dally to get up.

You stopped when you saw his ears perked up, and his wings shakily uncover his frail grey lightly-furred body. Dally stood up with a squeak, and flinged his wings slightly when he noticed you.

"(Y/n)!" Dally squealed with joy, running over to you.

You hushed him, trying to keep quiet now that all three of you were up.

"We gotta keep it down now..." You said.

"... Who knows where those Predators could be."

Dally's eyes widened, and he nodded understandingly.

You looked over at your classmate, who was looking at you with a worried stare. You went over to them.

"Dally's up." You said.

"But we need to keep quiet and figure out how we're supposed to get out of here." Your voice got quieter nearing the end of the sentence, looking at the lock of the cage that was much higher up than you thought it was before.

Your classmate seemed to notice this, looking at their look as well.

"Yeah, about the escape thing..." They mumbled.

You got an idea for a moment, but you were hesitant about it working. You shook that feeling of hesitance off your body quickly. As of your current situation, you needed as much as a miracle to try and get out. Even the slightest of a chance for some way to get you and your friends broken out of these cages, you'd be the Daredevil and try every single one.
