It had all happened so quickly...

You were just sitting on your floor, texting Jack as he was in Chase's car at the time, munching away at whatever candy you had an appetite for. It was quiet and calm, and there was nothing that could've possibly stressed you out at the time. In the midst of sending out a text to Jack, your hand went stiff, and your eyes flashed widely like a rush of sugar had pulsed through you.

Your head felt like it was getting smashed in with a hammer, your muscles tensing together. You dropped your phone to the ground in shock, hitting the back of your head against the wall as you went limp. For a minute, your body went into an all-out spasm on the floor, clutching yourself together in writhing pain as you were unable to call out for help.

As fast as it had hit you was as fast as it had seized. Your eyes blacked out as you finally went still. Nobody was home to help you. The last thing you heard was the frantic buzzing of your phone beside you, presumably Jack spamming you in worry with no responses given back.

...

You were given a rude awakening from the unbearably loud slamming of doors and chairs from a distant room. You leaped up to your feet in surprise, immediately regretting to do so as you stumbled from an incredibly harsh wave of nausea. It took a few moments for your mind to process what was around you. Well, you knew exactly what it was. Somehow, someway, it felt completely new to you.

It was still your room, with your phone and candy. Signature everything. But, everything was absolutely supersized. Either everything had grown or you had shrunk. Your best bet was that you had shrunken down.

Your mouth twitched in utter distress, unable to find the words in your head to speak out how you felt. The bashing from nearby did anything but help you with where you stood right now.

Your phone had gone quiet. Either Jack had stopped texting you or the battery had drained for however long you had been out for. Whatever the case may have been, it was not much darker than when you last remember being awake, however, it had not become any lighter out either.

For being even shorter than your own thumb, there was nothing in your plain of view that wasn't intimidating at this point. Unfortunately for you, the worst of it was yet to come.

The ground began to quake beneath your feet to the beat of heavy footsteps coming down the hall. Your mind finally set itself straight, bolting underneath the nearest object you could hide behind, which ended up being your king-sized Snickers bar. You would've gone for your bed if you knew you'd make it in time.

You peeked from the corner of the large wrapper, shaking as a large shadow hovered over the light creeping underneath your door, stopping right were it meant most to you. Your breathing hitched as the knob of your door clicked, swinging it open with an ear-piercing screech. You flipped behind the Snicker bar, concealing yourself completely before you could get a good look at the silhouette in the hall.

Are we getting robbed? I really hope Jack is on his way home soon... You thought to yourself in dread.

Your feet steadied themselves as you felt the personage stalk into your room, gritting your teeth together as dread coursed through your veins. Shrunken down to the size of a penny in the exact vacancy of a complete stranger? Convenience could have never been more crucial for you.

The figure went still for a moment, gazing down at the pile of candy where you ducked yourself behind. Kneeling down, your body stiffened as you could hear- and most definitely feel- the scraping of candy on the floor. Huffing in irritation, the figure's scrambling grew direr as they came closer to your spot.
