Finally.

It's been days you've been walking up this cold hell.

Days you've gone without food are uncountable.

Days you've gone without water are numberless.

But now.

You've made it.

You made it with your friend, (F/n) (Friend's name).

You reached the top with a gasp for air. The oxygen was thin, and difficult to breathe in. You couldn't stay there with your friend for long before you had to climb down the steep hill.

You admired the flag which had been placed at the peak from previous climbers who had reached the top, flailing around wildly in the strong heavy winds.

"My God..." You breathed in awe as (F/n) looked around behind you.

"I dreamed about going here some day as a kid, remember how I used to always tell you that in Kindergarten?" (F/n) said standing beside you with a wide smile.

You chuckled.

"Yeah, and how you'd always brag to me saying how you'd get to go an I wouldn't, and I'd cry whenever you brought it up thinking you were actually right." You struggled to say between short breaths.

(F/n) giggled, patting you on the shoulder.

"Well (Y/n)... cry no more, cause' in the end, we both made it."

You smiled.

There was silence for a few minutes as you and (F/n) stared down at the cliff.

"Let's get some shots of the mountains with my camera while we're at it." (F/n) said, pulling her high-tech photography camera out from her bag.

"Good idea." You responded nodding.

You helped (F/n) set up the stands for her camera quickly as the winds started blowing harder and the snow poured down.

"You sure this thing isn't gonna fall down?" You asked nervously, noticing the supports were wobbly against the hammering breeze.

"It'll be fine." (F/n) said, making a "shoo" motion with her hand.

You shrugged your shoulders.

"Okay..." You mumbled.

. . .

"That enough pictures you think (Y/n)?!" (F/n) asked you, shouting.

"Let's get one more of ourselves!" You said, trying to speak louder than the snowy blasting wind currently swooshing around both you and your friend.

"I don't think my camera can stabilize itself on the ground much longer!" (F/n) said.

You slapped your arms at your sides.

"Just one more shot (F/n)! It won't hurt!"

She groaned, rolling her eyes.

"Fine, but let's get it done quickly and get outta here!"

(F/n) ran behind the camera, struggling to set the 5 second timer for it to take the shot because of her thick covered layers gloves.

You stood at the very top edge of the mountain. Jumping off from the view behind you would be suicide.

"Hurry!" You shouted, freezing.

"I got it!" (F/n) responded quickly with a thumbs up.

She ran to the right side of you, wrapping your arms around each other's shoulders.
