Curled in his hand, snuggled into his chest,
there she lay, awaiting to rest.
He rubbed her back, gently and light,
towering her over with his massive height.
"Ready for bed?" he asked with a smirk,
she responded to him with a faint little shirk.
He held her closer, taking a breather,
he didn't have much energy left in him either.
He hummed a soothing little tune, vibrating his neck,
a pleasurable feeling to her that to him was just a speck.
Sipping his coffee, streams of heat flew by,
making her skin tingle as she emit a sigh.
He covered her over with his huge protective hand,
making it impossible for her to even get up and stand.
He leaned into her with a soft gentle hush,
his thumb moving across her spine like a brush.
"Bedtime lil' girl~" he said with a beam,
a smile she reflected back to him with a gleam.
She nodded her head, closing her eyes,
giving back to him no more replies.
When her small form went still, only breathing to be heard,
he hung back his head, his vision now blurred.
His own eyes shut themselves, no more spark left inside,
together they dreamed of each other, time passing with a glide.
