(Y/n) walked up to their bed wearily as her mother followed behind her, tucking her in under their bedsheets.

"Come on mom, I'm old enough to tuck myself in." (Y/n) chuckled.

"You're never too old for anything bum-bum." Her mother replied with a big smile.

Her mother patted (Y/n)'s head lightly.

"You've grown so big. Soon enough you're gonna learn to fend for yourself."

She booped (Y/n) in her nose, earning a giggle out of her.

"Destiny has something for all of us to look forward to in the future. Including you."

(Y/n) perked up sightly.

"What's my destiny?" She asked.

Her mother raised her eyebrows and shoulders in union.

"Nobody knows, but I can see through those beautiful little eyes you got, destiny has dire plans for you."

(Y/n) sighed jokingly.

Yeah right. She thought.

I'm probably gonna be working at a McDonald's in the future.

"You know your father and I are going out for the weekend. So take good care of our house while we're gone, okay sweetie?"

(Y/n) smirked.

"Got it momma."

Her mother stood up from her sitting position on the side of the bed, and looked outside their window. A quick flash of light streamed across the sky, something which if you blinked, you'd miss it.

"Look (Y/n), a shooting star! Make a wish!"

(Y/n) scoffed.

"First you tuck me in like I'm a child, and then you say I should make a wish by a shooting star? Mom, you know I'm not a kid anymore!"

The mother rolled her eyes.

"C'mon, just this once for me." She asked with pleading eyes which nobody could say no to.

(Y/n) bit her lip.

"Fine..."

She closed her eyes, and thought up of a wish she'd always dreamed of.

I wish I could meet my idol, Jacksepticeye, in any way possible.

(Y/n) opened back up her eyes to find her mother smiling wider than ever before.

"Don't tell anybody what you wished for~." She cooed.

(Y/n) huffed.

"Like I was going to tell anyone anyways." She said, turning to the side.

Her mother patted (Y/n) on her shoulder again.

"We'll see about that..."

She stood up from her position in (Y/n)'s bed, and walked towards the doorway.

"Goodnight (Y/n). Don't be going on your phone like you did the other day."

She rolled their eyes.

"Got it mom. G'night."

She blew a kiss to (Y/n) as she slowly shut the door closed completely. As soon as (Y/n) heard the doorknob click, she sighed.

Like I'll ever actually meet him. She thought sarcastically.

There's no way it'll happen. He lives all the way over in Brighton, and mom and dad don't have the money to go to any of his conventions or tours, which there aren't any planned for a couple months by now.
