Itachi, what do you suppose we're doing?

~~~
We've been walking since this morning, and it's beginning to get dark, and i'm beginning to get hungry.
"Hey, we should stop and eat. We've been waking all day long, and I'm hungry."
"There isn't anywhere around us to eat." I let out a heavy sigh, then I remember.
"Oh! I brought something!" I said sing-songey. Itachi looked over at me confused.
"What? You think I'd go on a week long trip without bring something in case we couldn't find someplace to eat?" With that, I drag Itachi by the sleeve of his cloak into grass less dense. I plop myself down.
"Sit!" He sits. I pull a small tub from a small satchel I carry, and pop it open. Two dango sticks sit inside. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Itachi's eyebrow raise slightly. He is very fond of this food, after all.
"Here, have one." Itachi reluctantly reached into the tub and pulled a stick out. I lay my head down on his thigh, and start to eat the dumplings.
"So, what am I to you?" I ask very suddenly.
"I love you." He simply takes another bite of his dango.
"I love you too, Itachi. Although, that defines our feelings, not us." I can't help but feel a pang of worry, what'll his reply be? He could tell me that just because he loves me, he diddn't want anything to do with me, and it'd ruin anything between us, and I couldn't do anything about it.
"Something like my significant other." He tapped my forehead.
"Itachi.." Wrapping my arms around his waist into a tight hug, and not letting go, I tell myself that I love him into his cloak.
"Sleep." He says simply. He's right, we do need energy. Tomorrow's the day were set to arrive at this village.
~~~

It's dawn. Yes. Perfect timing, waking as soon as the sun peaks over the horizon. Get in as much walking as possible and arrive at our destination much quicker.

"Itachi, get up." I shake him lightly. He's always been a light sleeper, he tends to be alert. As I thought, he jolted up immediately.

"Good morning, Love." He smiled sleepily. Love, that's a nickname I could get used to. A light pink blush blanketed over my cheeks.

"Good morning, Itachi." Dusting myself off, I get off the hard ground. Ouch, maybe I should have slept on my cloak, as heavy as it is.

"We should keep going straight, we'll be there by noon that way." He got off the ground as well, back pain seeming to welcome him as it did to me.

"Don't move, I'll be back." I know of a plant that contains a water-like substance inside the stem, and when ingested, works the same way Aloe Vera works for sunburn and eases the pain. It's natural and grows in this area.

"Here, Itachi, drink this." He reluctantly opens his mouth and the fluid slides down his throat, as do I.

"What is this for?"

"It'll help the back pain from sleeping on dirt all night."

"Thank you." He says and we begin to walk in the direction of this village we're to steal a healing scroll from.

~~~
"We're here, then." I state simply.
Itachi's right, it's extremely small, consisting of only an inn, a few houses, shops, and a rather large building, made of stone and metal, rather than wood like the other buildings here. It's purpose is clearly to protect something of value. Perhaps the scroll?
