"She fucking pressed hot bacon on my arm!" Itachi merely smirked at me.

"He called me Preggo. And asked if I was making him breakfast. No! I'm making myself food."

~~~
Oh my god.
Oh my god.
The only thoughts going through my head right now.
Oh my god.
The most unlikely couple sat in front of me as they confessed their relationship to me. How could he? My little brother.. figure and the stupidest girl in the entire Akatsuki. She's honestly an embarrassment. I should have killed her when I had the chance.
"It's not that huge of a deal. Hm. We've gotten closer in the six months you've been carrying a child." Deidara tried to reassure me, but failed.
"Yeah, Akira. Your boy toy isn't my cup of tea anymore. Sorry." Samichi hummed.
"My bo- You know what? I'm happy for you two. Now this mini-ho can't flirt with Itachi anymore." I spoke to Deidara. Samichi stood up, as did I.
"Something else you wanna say, Akira?"
"Actually yes I-"
"Save it, ugh! You're so annoying. I'll kill you, you know."
"Oh please. I'm pregnant and I could obliterate you, shorty." Samichi lunged forward, to which I grabbed her by her abnormally thick purple ponytail and threw her over my shoulder easily.
"Leave her alone, would you?" Deidara assisted Samichi in getting off of the floor.
I sighed and finally gave in.
"Look, you two. Especially you, Samichi. I don't want to hear about you two getting into any kind of trouble," Then I turned to Samichi. "And be good to my brother. I mean that." I flicked Samichi's forehead and walked off.
I decided to take a shower, since it's been a day or two.
While I was in the shower, I heard the doorknob shake and then open.
"What do you want?" I yelled. The real question should have been "who are you?" but that's fine.
"Akira?" That deal, silk-like voice answered that question- It's Itachi.
"Hm? Is it important?" I poked my head out of the steamy shower door. I almost slipped when I saw Itachi was much closer to me than I had originally thought.
"I was going to take a shower, but I see that's no longer an option." Itachi dipped his head to look into the shower, probably to see if there was room for two. I covered myself.
"Eh, Itachi? What're you doing?"
"I need a shower. Is it alright if I get in with you?"
"..I guess. Hurry up before the water gets cold." I scooted to the back of the shower. After some shuffling Itachi stepped into the shower. I quickly glanced at his body, then back to myself, biting my bottom lip.
When we each got out of the shower, I did my usual things and Itachi did his own. I try not to smother him as best as I can. Just because I'm pregnant with his child doesn't mean I need to be his shadow. He does have important things to do. Today, thought he insisted on sticking by my side.
"Itaaachi?" I looked toward him as we lay on his bed doing nothing.
"Do you know something I don't?" I figured maybe he was protecting me from something, considering how clingly he was being.
"It's nothing you need to worry about, Love." He smiled reassuringly and stroked my face with his hand, which I kissed.
"I'll hold you to it." Itachi made his hand down from my cheek until it was resting on my growing belly.
I looked into his dark eyes and chuckled.
"What is it?" Itachi asked me.
"Nothing, just that I don't understand how we came to be so close. Sure, we were the same skill level all those years ago. But you were so.. so adorable while I was a complete weirdo!" Both Itachi and I found a laugh from that.
"I wasn't.. adorable." Itachi said rather shyly. When Itachi and I first met; it was recently after my mother went missing and was brought back to the leaf. I was a ball of energy and so happy. I was happy to have my mother and new friend, an Uchiha. I always wore a dorky grin in his presence while he was always so calm and collected. Even when he was so young.
I bet I loved him even way back then; nearly thirteen years ago.
Some things just don't change.
