It seems that my brother is slowly becoming less antagonistic with each passing day. Palagi pa rin niya inuutusan si Maia na parang may personal maid siya, but he learned to be less hostile because of her.

Even Uncle Syl noticed how Jared Mason transformed. He is no longer easily angered and he seems to enjoy life with his new pet.

"Are you going to Vienna this semester break?" tanong ni Jared sa akin habang nag-aalmusal kami.

Uncle Syl and Uncle Joaquin are currently staying in Vienna for months now. They are haunting demons and they want us to prioritize our studies first.

"Nope, di muna ako mag wowork ngayon. I am going to Greece. Magbabakasyon ako," sagot ko sa kapatid ko.

"Where exactly in Greece, my dear sister?"

"Sa isang far away town that you don't need to know. Di ba sa Tanay, Rizal ka naman nagstay kapag sembreak?"

During school vacations, I am staying in Vienna and I am helping my Uncle Matthias in his airline company. Jared Mason on the other hand is mostly staying sa resthouse namin sa Tanay, Rizal para malapit lang siya sa dog shelter ng mommy ko.

"Do you think hindi ko alam na pina-iimbestigahan mo si Maia? And do you also think that Cole will keep me out of the loop?" taas kilay na tanong niya sa akin.

"Sige, magkampi kayo against me. I specifically asked that man to keep it from you. Did you compel him para umamin?"

"I don't need to compel Cole. Para ko na siyang kuya and he is a friend of mine. Would you like me to compel him para malaman ko kung anong mga ginagawa mo sa kanya kapag hindi ako nakatingin?"

"Jared Mason, wala akong pakialam sa pambababae mo kaya wag mo ko pakialamanan sa..."

"Sa pang haharot mo kay Cole? Maddie, he is too old for you. Kaibigan ko si Cole at ayoko mapariwara ang buhay niya sa piling mo. Find another man na sisirain mo ang buhay. Wag si Cole," natatawang sabi niya.

"One condition. Sasama ako sa Greece. Don't worry, I won't bother you and Cole."

"Panalo ka na. Sa weekend ako aalis. Maia's flight will be on Friday night. Hindi niya alam na susundan ko siya. Make sure na may excuse ka in case makita niya tayo pareho dun."

"Deal," nakangiting sabi ni Jared saka niya lang tinanggal ang pagka freeze niya sa kamay ko.

Cole already discussed our plans with Uncle Syl. He is also curious kung bakit hindi tinatablan ng compulsion si Maia. He wants to know why she is special kaya pinayagan niya kami ni Jared sa vacation request namin.
