Gabi na pero magkatabi pa rin kami ni Jared. I think we forgot to even take our dinner as it is already midnight. I tried to contemplate kung nagsisisi ba ako, but I am not. I am happy I gave him everything.

My mind wants to say no, but my heart just said yes to him. War of mind and heart, and I used the latter. Jared is the only man in my life and I never been this close with anyone before.

How can I even say no to the only man I love?

"I want your apple pie now," bulong niya sa akin as he kissed my ears.

"Ang bastos mo!"

"What? I'm talking about your real apple pie, yung binake mo kanina. What the hell are you thinking?"

"Ahh yun ba? Oo nga pala. Let's eat, medyo gutom na din ako," sabi ko sabay tayo sa kama para magbihis, but Jared is just looking at me and watching my every move.

"Gutom ka pa? Di pa ba kita nabusog, Maia?" he said while staring at me.

"Pshhh ginutom mo nga ko eh. Halika na, anong oras na, di pa tayo kumakain."

Pagbaba namin ni Jared sa kitchen, hindi namin inaasahan na nasa living room si Cole at natutulog. Nagising siya ng maramdaman na pababa kami ng stairs.

"Midnight snacks?" tanong niya sa amin.

"Cole, bakit di ka sa kwarto matulog? Mas comfortable dun kaysa dyan sa sofa," sabi ko sa kanya.

"I'm fine. I hired few men to report any unusual deaths and I'm monitoring it from time to time."

"Join us, nag bake si Maia ng apple pie."

"Actually nabawasan na namin ni Maddie yung apple pie kaninang dinner. Sabi niya, mukhang busog naman ata kayo," natatawang sabi ni Cole.

Hindi na ko sumagot pa dahil alam ko na may double meaning ang sinabi ni Maddie. I heard she was knocking on the door kanina, but Jared disregarded her as if di niya naririnig ang kakambal niya.

Nang matapos ang late dinner namin ni Jared, Cole showed us a video file.

"Kanina ko pa sana ipapakita sa inyo to pero hinintay ko muna kayo na makakain. I did not receive this from Amos, but this was sent directly to this laptop. I am assuming it was Nameless who sent it to us," sabi ni Cole habang binubuksan ang video file.

At first, it looks like someone is setting up a video camera sa tapat ng isang white wall. Biglang lumitaw ang isang lalaki on his late thirties na mukhang isang European descent. He is saying something na hindi ko maintindihan habang nakaharap sa camera.

"Jared anong sabi niya? Anong language yan?"

"He is speaking in Dutch. I am not sure what he means but I think he said something about knowing our geography. Cole, did you get the exact translation?"

"You know about your geography, let us see how far you can go. I will meet you in person once you proved your worthiness. That's the direct translation of what he said. You are right, he is using Dutch language."

After matapos magsalita ng lalaki, hinawakan niya ang isang blade at hiniwa ang kanyang pulso. Blood is dripping from his hand at sinalin niya ito sa bowl. Using a brush, he used his blood to write something on the wall. It does not look like letters, pero parang abstract scribbles or waves and curls. Mukhang drawing ng halaman or flower na di ko maintindihan dahil kulay pula.

Pagkatapos ng ilang sandali, the man used the same blade and plunge it in his heart which caused him to collapsed on the floor.

"Fuck! He killed himself! Ano ba yan, may patayan na naman na nagaganap," gulat kong sabi.

"What do you think about this?" turo ni Cole sa drawing sa wall.

"That's a crappy drawing Cole. Kung ano man yan, I don't think we can decode that piece of shit. It looks like a drawing of a pre school. Do you know the man who was killed?" tanong ni Jared, but his are focused on the drawing. He is trying to decode kung ano ito.

"Not yet as this video was sent directly to us. Amos is still tracking where this video originated at kung sino ang victim. We are still waiting for a police report to be uploaded."

"Cole, mabuti mag rest ka na muna. You look tired, di ka ata natutulog. Ikaw din Jared. I don't think we will be receiving any videos soon as Nameless does not include any instructions kung anong gagawin natin. I think this is just a preview of what is more to come," sabi ko sa kanilang dalawa.
