Pagkagising ko, nanunuod na ng television si Jared at si Cole sa living room. They are both watching about a missing  airplane that originated from London, UK.

The Air France flight from London Heathrow Airport disappeared without traces on its way to Nouakchott, Mauritania. The Air Traffic Control tower received the last message from pilot in command Adam Dubois when the plane was in between Morocco and Mauritania.

Several conspiracy theories are resurfacing regarding the plane's mysterious disappearance. One thing is for sure, no one knows the plane's whereabouts.

"Where's Maia? Tulog pa ba siya?" tanong ko sa kanila at nagsimulang mag preprepare ng breakfast.

"Maia went to Beijing with her grandfather," Jared said casually.

Hindi maitago sa mukha ni Cole ang pagka gulat sa sinabi ng kapatid ko. Kahit ako ay nagulat sa biglaan na pag-alis ni Maia. Di ko alam kung bakit siya umalis ng walang paalam. It is either totoo nga na kailangan niyang pumunta sa lolo niya or nag away silang dalawa ni Jared in the middle of the night.

"I am not really sure if there is something fishy about this one. Wala pa din update about dun missing Malaysian Airlines flight na nag disappear noong March 2014. This is a similar case. Do you think Nameless has something to do about it? How can he make more than one hundred passengers disappeared without any trace?"

"Cole, he is an ancient and powerful entity. He can do almost everything, pero sigurado ako that he is using humans to do his bidding. He can't do it by himself yet. Let us do our research in advance. Please ask Amos to send all the details of this flight including the passengers and..."

I am waiting for Jared to continue speaking habang nagluluto ako ng breakfast, but he stopped midway. Cole and Jared are both looking on the laptop screen kung saan kami nakaka received ng messages kay Nameless. "Where on earth are we going to find this perpetrator? At anong kinalaman nung Krakatoa? This is a name of a volcano, right?" tanong ko kay Jared.

"I am assuming Krakatoa means explosion, parang airplane bombing. Elephantine bird refers to an airplane. If I am correct, Istanbul is the city where east meets west, but where on Istanbul are we going to find that plane? We are looking for a needle in a haystack."
